CUSAT CAT 2018 Counselling
After the declaration of CUSAT CAT 2018 Result, those who qualify the entrance exam are eligible to appear for counselling/ GD/ PI, as applicable. The schedule for counselling is published online at the University’s official website and the candidates can click on the above mentioned to reach at the desired portal conveniently. No individual call letter / communication will be sent by post. Candidates are informed that no candidate will be entertained if they reach after 10:00 A.M.
CUSAT CAT 2018 Admit Card
The admit card for CUSAT CAT 2018 will be available for download on, cusat.nic.in. Only those who have successfully registered for the exam will be able to download the admit card by entering their login credentials. The CUSAT CAT 2018 Admit Card consist of exam date, timings and address of the examination centre. The candidates must download and take a print out of it to bring it on the day of examination.

Exam Pattern for CUSAT CAT 2018 Exam
The exam pattern for CUSAT CAT 2018 for each course is given below:
- The exam for Common Admission Test (CAT) will be held in Online Mode by the University.
- For every correct answer, 03 marks will be given.
- There will be a negative marking of 01 marks for every incorrect answer.
For B.Tech and 5 year integrated M.Sc programmes
- Number of Questions: There will be a total number of 250 MCQ type questions.
- The exam will be of 03 hours duration.
- The standard of the questions will be as per Class 12th syllabus.
- Marks: The exam will be of 750 total marks

The test for LLM consist of 150 objective type questions and will be divided into two parts as below:
- Part 1 – Proficiency in English and General Knowledge, Analytical and reasoning capability and aptitude to do research.
- Part 2 – Compulsory papers in Law as prescribed by the Bar Council of India.
For MA Hindi
The test for MA Hindi consist of 150 objective type questions. The questions to be asked in the entrance exam will be at a level of the second language studied at degree level.
For MCA
The test for MCA will consist of 150 MCQ questions. About 50% of the questions will be from Mathematics covering areas of Engineering Mathematics/B.Sc. subsidiary level Mathematics while the remaining questions will be to test the ability of the candidate in logical reasoning based on pictures, geometrical figures, patterns of words, Number Sequence, Set Theory, Logic decoding etc.
For MCA Lateral Entry/M Sc Computer Science
There will be a total of 150 MCQ question. The distribution of questions for this test is as follows:

For M.A. Applied Economics
The entrance exam for this course will consist of 150 MCQ questions. The questions will be designed in such a way to test the proficiency of the candidate’s applicant at the Graduate level in Economics. In this test, 50 % of the questions will be from Economics, 15% from Simple Mathematics, 15% from Statistics and 20% General awareness.
For 3 year LL.B course
It will consist of 150 MCQ questions and the test will be of maximum marks of 450. The distribution of questions among each topic is as follows:

CUSAT CAT 2018 Rank List
The rank list of the candidates for various courses will be prepared on the basis of the following criterion:

- M.B.A (Full-time) / (Part-time) Programme – The rank list for this programme will be prepared on the basis of MAT (AICTE) / K-MAT / CAT(IIM) score and performance at Group Discussion and Interview. The weightage for each criterion is as follows:

Selection Criteria Weightage CAT Score 85% Interview 15% Total 100 - BCom LLB/BBA LLB/3 Year LLB – The rank list will be prepared on the basis of candidate’s performance in CAT entrance exam conducted by the University, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
Selection Criteria Weightage Part I of CAT 40% Part II of CAT 40% GD 10% Interview 10% - LLM – The rank list is prepared on the basis of the CAT score followed by GD and PI.

CUSAT CAT 2018 Result
The result for CUSAT CAT 2018 has been declared on the Result link provided above. The candidates who have appeared for the exam can now able to check their result by entering details such as Roll Number, Password, etc. Those who have obtained minimum cut off marks are declared to be qualified in CUSAT CAT 2018. The candidates whose name appears in the rank list are eligible for the next stage of the admission process.
CUSAT CAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should check if they fulfil the eligibility criteria or not of the respective course. The eligibility conditions for each course is different. The candidate should ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria and only then they should proceed further. The CUSAT CAT 2018 Eligibility criteria is as follows:
- Aspirants seeking admission in UG courses should have passed +2 level or its equivalent education.
- For those who wishes to apply for PG courses, should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned discipline, as applicable.
- The candidates who have appeared/ will be appearing for their final examination are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam. However, if selected their admission will remain provisional till they submit the proof of passed the final examination
CUSAT CAT 2018 Application Form
The application form for CUSAT 2018 is now available. The aspirants must complete the application process within the given time period. The application process for CUSAT 2018 is to be done in two phases. In the first phase, the candidate need to enter their basic information such as their Name, Email ID, Mobile Number. On completion of the first phase, the candidates will receive a username and password at their registered email id. Next, the applicants need to enter Personal Details, upload images as per the specifications, choose the course for which they wish to apply for, pay the application fee and choose the exam centre. The application fee is payable by online mode only. Lastly, submit the application form online and take a print out of it for future reference.
