The CUSAT CAT 2027 syllabus for B.Tech (test 101) is the Plus Two (Class 11 and 12) syllabus in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. CUSAT does not publish a chapter list; its prospectus gives the question split of 90 Mathematics, 75 Physics and 60 Chemistry questions in 3 hours. Other test codes have their own subject areas.
CUSAT CAT Syllabus 2027
This page covers the B.Tech test 101 chapters, the question split and marking, the syllabus of other test codes and how to prepare.
How many questions come from each subject in CUSAT CAT 2027?
Test 101 has 225 questions from the Plus Two syllabus, with Mathematics carrying the most weight. This is the 2026 split, which has been the same since 2023.
| Subject | Questions | Marks |
|---|---|---|
| Mathematics | 90 | 360 |
| Physics | 75 | 300 |
| Chemistry | 60 | 240 |
| Total | 225 | 900 |
A right answer earns 4 marks and a wrong answer loses 1. Up to 2022 the test had 250 questions (Mathematics 125, Physics 75, Chemistry 50), so older papers are heavier on Mathematics.
What are the Mathematics chapters in the CUSAT CAT syllabus?
CUSAT only says the test is based on the Plus Two syllabus. The Kerala Higher Secondary and CBSE courses both use NCERT textbooks, so their current chapters are a safe guide.
