DAVV CET 2018 – DAVV CET is short for Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya Common Entrance Test. The University organises this test to let eligible candidates take admissions into various UG & PG courses. DAVV conducts the entrance examination on an annual basis. The Institute shall soon prepare the DAVV CET 2018 schedule. The same would be uploaded on the official website at dauniv.ac.in in the due course. As per past year official sources, it can be said that the applications might be accepted starting from 2nd week of April 2018 & the last date of submission of application form might fall somewhere around 2nd week of June 2018.

Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya is located in Indore. It was established in 1964. On annual basis, more than a lakh candidates get enrolled in the university combining all the courses.

DAVV’s course curriculum is divided in four groups i.e. Group A, B, C & D. The candidates while filling up the form must specify their desired group of study they intend to pursue. DAVV CET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to go through the conditions below carefully as this will be the first step towards applying. And if you do not clear this, then do not proceed further.

Education Qualification Requirement

  • For the UG courses- 12th class pass from a recognised board.
  • For the PG courses- UG pass from a recognised University.

Age Limit Requirement

  • Age limit for UG courses- not more than 23 years.
  • Age limit for UG courses- not more than 25 years.

  • Subjects- Physics / Mathematics / Electronics

(ii) M.Sc.(Life Science, Industrial Microbiology)

  • Questions- will have 75 questions
  • Subjects- B.Sc.

(iii) M.Sc. (Biochemistry)

  • Questions- will have 75 questions
  • Subjects- B.Sc.

(iv) LLM

  • Questions- will have 75 questions
  • Subjects- LLB

DAVV CET 2018 Application Procedure

Candidates who wish to apply to their desired course will have to wait until the application form submission is announced. The tentative dates are 02nd week of April 2018. If according to this  date, the application apply link is activated then you will need to visit the official website by following the official website at www.dauniv.ac.in or follow the link available on our page as well.

Then click the “Apply Online” tab to begin filling the application form. You may have to provide details like- Personal Details, Contact Details, Education Qualification details etc. One more important step in the application form filling would be to upload scanned photograph & signature of the candidate. Then review your entries and finally on complete satisfaction hit the “submit” tab.

Last step is to make the payment. This will be done in Online mode. You will have to select a suitable payment option form the available choices like- Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking.

Upon the final stage completion, a confirmation page will be displayed on your computer screen At last, take the print of the application form and keep it with you for future reference.

DAVV CET 2018 Expected Application Fee

Last year, the candidates were supposed to pay an amount of Rs. 1500/- + 50 (Online Charges). So this year as well, it can be expected that the amount will remain the same. However, there is no guarantee whether this amount will persist or vary.

Expected Examination Centres

As per last year information, candidates were allotted seats in the following examination cities:- Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain, Sagar, Satna, Rewa, Mandsaur, Khandwa, Ranchi, Patna, Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Raipur, Bilaspur, Allahabad, Lucknow, Kota, Vadodara, Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Kochi, Bhubaneshwar. This year, the number of cities may increase or decrease as per the University official’s discretion.

DAVV CET 2018 Admit Card

Those who register well in time will be issued e-generated DAVV CET 12018 Admission Tickets/Admit card. DAVV shall upload the ticket in Online mode on each and every candidates’ login account. The DAVV CET 2018 Admit Card download link will be activated tentatively in 03rd week of June 2018.  The DAVV CET Admit Card will have necessary information printed o it like:- Name, Date of Birth, Registration no. etc.

DAVV CET 2018 Result

Once the exam is conducted smoothly, the result will be declared for those who will be able to clear the exam with minimum qualifying marks. The result will tentatively be declared in the 01st week of July 2018. Along with the result, cut off will also be announced. Candidates will need to visit the official website and check their status. University will also issue you your scorecards. Scorecard will reflect your performance in each subject. It shall be mandatory to carry the result at the time of Counselling.

DAVV CET 2018 Counselling

Counselling is usually the last step in the admission process. There are thousands of candidates who apply every year, however, it is not necessary that all of them are eligible. It is possible that candidates who fail to satisfy the criteria also cleared the exam. Therefore, the counselling is meant to verify the candidates using their original documents and matching their details carefully. An honest person will definitely attend the counselling. Also to maintain the standards of the examination, The authorities decide that out of those who cleared the exam, how many scored higher than the set cut off or equal. These people are then admitted to the course.

  • Self-attested 10th class Original mark sheet
  • Self-attested 12th class Original mark sheet
  • DAVV CET 2018 Admit Card.
  • 3 Passport size photo.
  • DAVV CET 2018 Result.

  • Birth Certificate Original + 1 self-attested copy

  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
