DUET 2027 will not be held. The Delhi University Entrance Test was last conducted by NTA in October 2022. For 2027, the University of Delhi admits two-year PG students through CUET (PG), expected in March 2027, and its CSAS (PG) portal, five-year LL.B. students through CLAT, and Ph.D scholars through NET scores plus an interview.

This page explains how to get into Delhi University now that DUET is not held: the test each programme needs, dates, how to apply, Ph.D and law routes, and the old DUET papers.

Is DUET 2027 being held?
No. The University of Delhi has not held DUET since October 2022, when NTA ran the last edition from 17 to 21 October as a computer-based test. DU moved UG admission to CUET (UG) from 2022-23 and two-year PG admission to CUET (PG) from 2023-24, and it fills Ph.D seats on NET scores plus an interview.

So if you were planning for DUET 2027, prepare for CUET (PG) 2027 instead, in the test paper that DU’s PG bulletin lists for your course. Appearing in CUET (PG) is not enough on its own: you must also apply to DU through CSAS (PG).
DUET 2027 Important Dates (DU Admission Routes)
There is no DUET schedule. The table shows the DU Ph.D 2026-27 round now running and the expected 2027 dates for CUET (PG), CLAT and DU’s own portals, based on the 2026 cycle.

How to Apply for DU PG Admission 2027 (instead of DUET)
You apply in two steps: first for CUET (PG) 2027 on NTA’s website, then for DU seats on the CSAS (PG) portal once the CUET (PG) result is out. In 2026 CSAS (PG) registration opened in May and closed on 9 June 2026, after an extension.
Apply Online for DUET 2027
Applications for DUET 2027 are expected in December 2026.
- Check the PG Bulletin of Information on admission.uod.ac.in for your course’s eligibility and the CUET (PG) test paper it accepts.
- Register for CUET (PG) 2027 on NTA’s website (expected December 2026 to January 2027) and choose that test paper.
- After the result, open pgadmission.uod.ac.in and click New Registration. Enter your CUET (PG) application number, roll number, name and date of birth exactly as on the scorecard, plus your email and mobile number, and verify the OTP.
- Log in to your dashboard, fill in your details, upload documents and select programmes in order of preference.
- Pay the CSAS (PG) fee for each programme you choose. Preferences for a programme cannot be changed after its fee is paid.
- When a seat is allocated, accept it, wait for the college or department to approve your documents, and pay the admission fee by the deadline.

These are DU’s 2026 fees; the CUET (PG) fee is paid separately to NTA. Only female candidates living in NCT Delhi can take PG programmes offered by NCWEB.
How do you get DU Ph.D admission without DUET?
Through your NET score and an interview. For 2026-27, DU counts UGC or CSIR NET scores from the December 2025 and June 2026 exams, and every shortlisted candidate must attend an interview in person at the department. Registration on phd2026.uod.ac.in is open from 6 to 18 October 2026.
- Interviews: 21 to 31 October 2026 at the departments and centres. No TA or DA is paid.
- Department recommendations by 10 November 2026; fee payment by 15 November 2026.
- Registration fee: Rs 750 per programme (UR / EWS / OBC-NCL), Rs 300 per programme (SC / ST / PwBD), non-refundable.
- Eligibility, the accepted NET subject and any research-proposal rule differ by department; check them in the Ph.D bulletin before you apply.
DU says the Ph.D portal may open more than once in an academic year, so watch admission.uod.ac.in for a later 2026-27 round.
How do you get into DU’s five-year law programmes?
Through CLAT. The Faculty of Law admits students to BA LL.B. (Hons) and BBA LL.B. (Hons) on CLAT scores alone, and you must also register on law.uod.ac.in after the CLAT result. CLAT 2027, which decides 2027-28 seats, is scheduled for 6 December 2026.
For 2026 the DU registration fee was Rs 1,500 (UR / OBC-NCL / EWS) and Rs 1,000 (SC / ST / PwBD), and your name and date of birth had to match your CLAT record.
When was DUET held in past years?
DUET ran for the last time in 2022. NTA conducted it from 2019 to 2022; before that, the University of Delhi ran the test itself.

In the DUET years of 2021 and 2022, half the seats in many PG courses went to DU graduates on merit and the other half through DUET. That split ended with the move to CUET (PG).
