How to Check the GBPUAT Result 2027
You check the result on the result page of the GBPUAT admission portal with your roll number; no login password is needed.
- Open the GBPUAT admission portal (gbpuat.org.in) and click the entrance examination result link.
- Select your programme: UG, Masters, MCA or Ph.D.
- Enter the roll number printed on your admit card.
- View your result and rank, and save or print the page for counselling.
GBPUAT does not answer letters, emails or phone calls about the result, so use the result page and the counselling notices on the portal.
What is the expected GBPUAT 2027 cut off?
GBPUAT publishes cut-off ranks (the rank range called to each counselling round), not cut-off marks; the latest figures are from the 2026 spot rounds (2026, official GBPUAT counselling notices).

In the 2026 UG spot and final rounds every ranked candidate up to rank 4071 was called, in every category, because seats were still vacant. Ranks called in the first rounds are lower and depend on the seats left in each category.
How does GBPUAT counselling work after the result?
Counselling starts after the result, with dates and rank lists for each round posted on gbpuat.org.in and no individual letters sent.
- Check the rank list and schedule for the round on the admission portal.
- Upload your documents on the portal for online verification.
- Pay the counselling fee online (Rs 500 for UG and Masters, Rs 2,000 for MCA in the 2026 spot rounds).
- Get a seat by rank, category and choice; in later rounds you can upgrade, which gives up the earlier seat.
- Report at Pantnagar with original documents and a medical fitness certificate, and pay the fees by the date on the allotment letter.
Vacant reserved seats are not converted to unreserved seats, though vacant EWS seats can go to Uttarakhand unreserved candidates in the last round. Seats not confirmed by fee payment move to the next round.
Which documents do you need for GBPUAT counselling?
Bring the originals and self-attested copies of these documents to verification; the full list is in the prospectus.
- Online application form, application fee receipt, seat allotment letter and fee receipts
- Class 10 and Class 12 certificates and marksheets, and any higher degree marksheets
- Uttarakhand domicile certificate and a valid category certificate (EWS certificate for the current financial year)
- Rural, sports or agriculturist weightage certificate, if claimed
- Character certificate from the last institution, a gap certificate if needed, and the migration certificate
- Medical fitness certificate in the prospectus format and five passport-size photos
How are ties broken in the GBPUAT merit list?
For UG, equal marks are separated by the Mental Agility score, then Physics, then Chemistry, then qualifying exam marks, and finally by age, with the older candidate placed higher. For Masters the Aptitude score decides first, then the qualifying exam; for Ph.D. it is the qualifying exam marks.
