GBPUAT Result 2018 releases online. Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology publishes GBPUAT Result at Merit lists consisting the entire details about the results has been announced after the GBPUAT 2018 exam has been successfully conducted.

The results for GBPUAT 2018 has been declared on June 08, 2018. The results has been issued by GB Pant University. Results of the GBPUAT 2018 can be checked by the candidates on this page.

GBPUAT 2018 Results

Candidates will be granted admissions to various programs on the basis of the Entrance Examination conducted by the University. Results will be released on the official website. The candidates will be able to download the results in a PDF format. The list contains the Roll Numbers of candidates and their merit. In the event of two or more candidates securing equal marks the merit will be decided on the basis of marks secured in the Aptitude Test. Candidates shall receive a mail to appear before the Admission/Counselling Committee in order of merit subject to cutoff marks, and offered the programme as per the number of seats available on the date and time.

The number of candidates called for counselling is much more than the total number of seats. Hence, getting a call for counselling does not assure admission in any program or college

The result will be posted on the official site by the University. On the basis of the result of the entrance test, the candidates are selected for counselling for admission.

GBPUAT Counselling

Candidates will have to register themselves to appear for the counselling session. The registration would be done online. The link will be made available on the official website of the university. Candidates have to appear for the counselling as per the time and date allotted to them with the list of documents prescribed in the official prospectus as document verification is an important step in the GBPUAT counselling. Candidates who fail to turn up at the scheduled time will be given a chance at the end of the day. They can claim only the programmes/majors in which seats are available at that time and as per their qualifications/ groups. Counselling registration link will be given below.

GBPUAT: About the exam

Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology (GBPUAT) conducts Pantnagar University entrance exam. This exam is an annual affair conducted to grants admission to candidates in MCA and UG/ PG Science courses offered by it. It may be noted that only bonafide residents of Uttarakhand are eligible to apply for this exam for UG and PG admissions (except MCA).

    • You need to meet the eligibility criteria for the same..which is..
      For Master’s Programmes
      Candidate should have cleared his/her major in Agricultural Economics -B.Sc. in Agriculture/ Fisheries/Forestry/ Horticulture/ Home Sc./Agril. Marketing.
      Major in Agrometeorology – B.Sc. in Agriculture/Forestry/ Horticulture or B.Sc. with Physics as the major subject.
      Candidates should have cleared their majors in Agril. Engineering (Farm Machinery & Power Engg.) and Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
      Candidates should have cleared their majors in Clothing & Textiles – B.Sc. Home Science/Home Economics/Family & Community Sciences with Intermediate Science.
      Candidates should have cleared their majors in Plant Physiology – B.Sc. in Agriculture/ Zoology, Botany and Chemistry/ Horticulture/ Microbiology with Chemistry/B.Sc. Forestry.
