The IERT Entrance Exam Result 2027 is expected in July 2027 on iertentrance.in, a few days after the exams. In 2026 IERT declared the result on 8 July, five days after the last paper. The result is a merit list for counselling at IERT Prayagraj; IERT does not issue marks or a marksheet for the entrance test.

How to Check the IERT Entrance Exam Result 2027
- Open iertentrance.in after the result is announced.
- Click the result or view status link for your course (engineering diploma, management diploma or PDCA).
- Enter the registration number or application ID you got when you applied, and any other detail the page asks for.
- Check your result and whether you are shortlisted for counselling.
- Download your counselling offer letter if it is shown, and save a copy.
Results are published only on iertentrance.in. IERT does not post letters to candidates, so keep checking the website yourself.
What does the IERT Entrance Exam 2027 result show?
IERT declares a separate result for each course, strictly on merit. The brochure says it does not declare marks or issue a marksheet for the entrance exam, and it does not answer queries about marks.
- Engineering diploma: merit is based only on your entrance exam marks.
- Management diploma and PDCA: merit is based on the entrance exam and an interview of 100 marks. Missing the interview cancels your candidature.
- Ties: if two candidates have the same marks, the older one is placed higher.
- There is no scrutiny or revaluation of answer sheets.
IERT does not publish cut-off marks or closing ranks, so there is no official cut off to compare against.
What happens after the IERT 2027 result?
Shortlisted candidates get a letter of offer for counselling on iertentrance.in, with the date, time and place. IERT shortlists more candidates than there are seats, so the letter does not promise admission.
- Counselling is held in the IERT auditorium, Prayagraj, in order of merit. Each day closes once the fixed number of admissions for that day is reached.
- Your branch is allotted by merit and the options you give. It cannot be changed later.
- If you are not present when called, you lose your turn to the next candidate.
- Pay the counselling fee and full course fee the same day, by separate bank drafts in favour of Director, IERT, payable at Prayagraj. Hostel fee is also paid that day if you take a room.
Admission is also subject to medical fitness. Candidates with colour blindness or infectious diseases are not admitted, as the brochure states.
What documents should you carry to IERT 2027 counselling?
- Entrance exam admit card and your counselling offer letter
- Class 10 marksheet and certificate in original, plus the qualifying exam marksheet for your course
- Character certificate from your last institution, not older than 6 months
- Original transfer certificate, countersigned by the DIOS where required
- Category certificate (OBC, SC, ST, EWS) and, if claimed, freedom fighter, military ward or disability papers
- Income certificate if you want a fee waiver or scholarship
- Medical certificate with blood group from a government medical officer
- UP domicile certificate of a parent if you passed Class 10 outside UP
- Three sets of photocopies, 12 copies of the photo used in your form, and the bank drafts
