IGKV CET 2027 is the Common Entrance Test of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (IGKV), Raipur. It is held as CET(PG) for M.Sc., M.Tech and MBA (Agribusiness) seats and as CET(Ph.D.) for doctoral seats. The 2027 dates are not announced yet. IGKV has not announced the 2027 schedule, so the dates below are expected months. In 2025 the PG test was held on 29 June 2025 from 2 to 4 PM (CollegeDekho), and 2026 counselling ran in August for PG and September for Ph.D.

- M.Sc. (Hort.): Vegetable Science, Fruit Science, Floriculture and Landscaping
- M.Sc. Silviculture and Agroforestry
- M.Tech (Agricultural Engineering), at SV College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Raipur
- MBA (Agri-business Management)
- Ph.D. in agriculture subjects, Horticulture, Silviculture and Agroforestry, and Agri-business Management
B.Sc. (Ag.) and other UG seats at IGKV are not filled through this test. They go through CG Vyapam’s Pre-Agriculture Test (PAT).
How to Apply for IGKV CET 2027
You apply online once IGKV posts the CET(PG) or CET(Ph.D.) 2027 notice on its admission portal. In 2025 the form was open from 7 May to 10 June 2025 (CollegeDekho).
Apply Online for IGKV CET 2027
Applications for IGKV CET 2027 are expected in May 2027.
- Open the IGKV online counselling portal and pick PG or Ph.D. Online Counseling for the 2027-28 session.
- Read the 2027 notice and brochure for seats, eligibility and the fee.
- Register with your mobile number; the portal sends an OTP to verify it.
- Fill in personal and academic details, including your OGPA or percentage.
- Upload your photo, signature and documents, then pay the fee online.
- Submit the form and keep a printout for the admit card and counselling.

Who can apply for IGKV CET 2027?
You need a 4-year bachelor’s degree (10+2+4) in the right subject for PG, or a related master’s degree for Ph.D. These rules are from the IGKV brochure for 2026-27.
- M.Sc. (Ag.) and M.Sc. (Hort.): B.Sc. (Ag.), B.Sc. (Ag.) Hons., B.Sc. (Hort.) or B.Sc. (Hort.) Hons. with OGPA 6.00 out of 10 or 60% marks.
- M.Sc. (Ag.) Agricultural Statistics: the same degree, plus Mathematics as a subject in Class 12.
- M.Sc. (Ag.) Molecular Biology and Biotechnology: B.Sc. (Ag. Biotechnology) or B.Sc. Forestry is also accepted, with OGPA 6.00 or 60%.
- MBA (ABM): B.Tech (Agril. Engg.) is also accepted, with OGPA 6.00 or 60%.
- M.Sc. Silviculture and Agroforestry: B.Sc. Forestry or B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry is also accepted; B.Sc. (Ag.) and B.Sc. (Hort.) students must take non-credit forestry deficiency courses.
- Ph.D.: a master’s degree in the relevant subject with OGPA 3.00/4.00, 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks, under the 10+2+4+2 system.
What is the IGKV CET 2027 exam pattern?
The PG test has 200 objective questions of 1 mark each in 2 hours, with no negative marking. This is printed on IGKV’s PG-CET 2021 paper, and the 2019 and 2022 papers also run to 200 questions.
