IGNOU OPENNET Answer Key 2027: Release, Queries, Score

IGNOU will publish the OPENNET 2027 answer key as a PDF in the announcements section of ignou.ac.in a few weeks after the test, and gives about a week to email queries. It is expected in March or April 2027. The 2026 key came out on 20 April 2026 for the test held on 29 March.

How to Check the IGNOU OPENNET Answer Key 2027

The key is released as a notification from IGNOU’s Student Evaluation Division, with a one-page table of answers for all 120 questions.

1. Open ignou.ac.in and go to the Announcements section.
2. Find the notification for the B.Sc. Nursing (PB) entrance test answer key.
3. Open the answer key PDF and the notification that gives the query deadline.
4. Work out your marks from the key, using the question paper if IGNOU posts it with the key, as it did in 2025. The test booklet is handed back at the centre.

How do you raise a query on the OPENNET answer key?

You email your query to [email protected] before the deadline in the notification. In 2026 the window ran from 20 April to 26 April 2026, 6:00 PM, and in 2025 it closed on 31 March 2025. IGNOU’s notifications do not mention any fee, and queries sent after the deadline are not considered.

How do you calculate your IGNOU OPENNET score?

Count your correct answers. That count is your score out of 120.

• Correct answer: 1 mark.
• Wrong answer: 0, as there is no negative marking.
• Question left blank or more than one option marked: 0.

Some questions accept more than one answer. The 2025 key, for example, lists options like “2 & 4” for a few questions, so give yourself the mark if your option is among them.

What happens after the IGNOU OPENNET answer key?

IGNOU declares the result about two months later; in 2026 the key came out on 20 April and the IGNOU OPENNET result on 10 June. Seats then go by the Regional Centre merit lists.
