How the JEMAS PG Papers Changed (2020–2024)
- 2020 and 2021: the booklets carry the older name JEPAS(PG), with 12 course papers each year.
- 2022: renamed JEMAS(PG), with 23 papers including MPT, MOT, MPO, MSLP and M.Phil CP. Booklets now come in series A to D, marked on the OMR sheet.
- 2023 and 2024: 26 papers, adding M.Sc Medical Biochemistry, Medical Microbiology and two M.Sc Public Health specialities. The 100-question, 90-minute paper stayed the same.
How to Use JEMAS PG Previous Year Papers?
- Finish 100 questions in 90 minutes. That is 54 seconds a question. Time every attempt, since the test has a single 90-minute sitting per group.
- Think before a wild guess. A wrong answer scores 0, the same as a blank, so a guess can add marks. But ties are broken by fewer wrong answers, so avoid pure guesses when you are close to a rank cut-off.
- Solve your course’s papers only. Each course has its own paper. Most courses have papers for 2022, 2023 and 2024; older courses such as MHA, MPH and Dip Diet have all five years.
- Score the 2024 paper with the final key. WBJEEB’s final keys of 13 November 2024 cover every course. Match your booklet series before you count.
- Watch for the JEMAS(PG)-2026 bulletin. WBJEEB has said dates will be notified separately. Start with 2024 and work back to 2020 while you wait.
