| Exam centre | Kolkata-Salt Lake/New Town zone only |
For M.Phil CP and M.Phil PSW, WBUHS also holds a personal interview. The final score counts the written test for 85% and the interview for 15%, and candidates who skip the interview are not ranked.
How are JEMAS PG ranks and admission decided?
WBJEEB ranks candidates by total marks and gives each a General Merit Rank (GMR) on a personal rank card. It does not publish a rank list.
- Category positions (SC, ST, EWS, PwD and others) are shown for information, but seat allotment follows the GMR only.
- Ties are broken by fewer wrong answers first, then by the older date of birth, then by the earlier application number.
- The Board may fix a cut-off rank or score; not every candidate who appears is given a rank.
- Admission rules and the admission process are decided by WBUHS and the West Bengal Health and Family Welfare Department, not by WBJEEB.
