WBJEEB will release the JEMScN 2027 model answer key in the candidate login after the exam, which is expected in June 2027. In 2026 the provisional key and OMR images came out on 31 July, challenges closed on 2 August and the final key was published on 12 August 2026.

How to Check the JEMScN 2027 Answer Key
- Open the WBJEEB JEMScN page when the model answer key notice is out.
- Sign in with your application number and password.
- Open the model answer keys and the page with your OMR image and machine-read responses.
- Find your booklet series (A, B, C or D). In 2026 it was decoded from the symbol at the lower right corner of page 7 of the question booklet.
- Match your responses with the key for your series and note the questions you want to challenge.
Save copies of the key and your OMR image, as they stay online only for a short time.
How to Challenge the JEMScN 2027 Answer Key
You can challenge any number of answers, or any wrongly read OMR response, online and in one session only.
- Sign in during the challenge window (31 July to 2 August in 2026, up to 11:59 PM).
- Select the question numbers you want to challenge.
- Pay Rs 500 per question by net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI. The fee is not refunded.
- Submit and keep the payment receipt.
Challenges by email, letter or phone are not accepted. WBJEEB’s decision on each challenge is final.
What is the difference between the provisional and final JEMScN answer key?
- Provisional (model) key: published soon after the exam for candidates to view and challenge.
- Final key: published after WBJEEB reviews the challenges; scores and ranks are based on it. It is released as a public PDF for all four sets.
- OMR response: your own answer sheet as read by the machine, which you can also challenge.
How to Calculate Your JEMScN 2027 Score
Use the final key and your machine-read responses.
- Correct answer: +1
- Wrong answer: -1/4
- More than one option marked: -1/4
- Not attempted: 0
For example, 70 correct and 20 wrong answers give 70 minus 5, or 65 out of 100. Past final keys for 2024 and 2025 are on the JEMScN question papers page.
