JEMScN 2027 (Joint Entrance for Master of Science in Nursing) is the state entrance test that WBJEEB holds for M.Sc. Nursing seats in government, self-financing and private institutes of West Bengal. The 2027 schedule is not out yet. Going by 2026, applications are expected in April 2027 and the OMR exam in June 2027.

JEMScN 2027 Important Dates
WBJEEB has not announced the JEMScN 2027 schedule, so the dates below are expected months. In 2026 applications ran from 1 to 18 April and the exam was held on 7 June 2026, but the month can shift: the 2025 exam was held on 19 October 2025.

How to Apply for JEMScN 2027
You apply for JEMScN 2027 online only, on the WBJEEB portal linked from wbjeeb.in and wbjeeb.in, once the 2027 information bulletin is out (expected in March 2027). There is no printed form, and you must not submit a second application.
Apply Online for JEMScN 2027
Applications for JEMScN 2027 are expected in April 2027.
- Open the WBJEEB JEMScN page and click the JEMScN 2027 registration link when it goes live.
- Register with your name, father’s and mother’s names, date of birth, gender, ID type and number, address, mobile number and email ID. Name, parents’ names, domicile and date of birth cannot be changed later.
- Create a password and submit. Note the application number shown on screen; it is also sent by SMS and email.
- Log in and fill the application: domicile, category, PwD status, nationality and academic details.
- Upload a recent colour photo (JPG, 10 to 200 KB) and your signature (JPG, 4 to 30 KB) in one step.
- Pay the fee online and download the confirmation page. The application is incomplete until the confirmation page is generated.
Other details can be corrected only during the correction window, which was 20 to 21 April in 2026. The fees below are from the 2026 bulletin and notices; WBJEEB will confirm the 2027 amounts in the new bulletin.

Who can apply for JEMScN 2027?
Any Indian citizen can apply, but you need the qualifications below to get admission. These rules come from the Nursing Directorate, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal, as printed in the 2026 bulletin.
- A pass in B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing through distance education, from an INC-recognised institute.
- At least 55% aggregate marks across all years of that course, with theory and practical passed separately.
- Registration (RNRM certificate) with the State Nursing Council of any state.
- Work experience of at least 1 year by the last date of application. West Bengal State Government nursing staff need 3 years and a Letter of Permission at admission.
- No upper age limit, except for West Bengal State Government nursing personnel, who must not be over 53 on the last date of application.
- Reserved seats (SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, EWS, PwD) are only for West Bengal domicile candidates, except at centrally funded institutes such as the College of Nursing, NILD.
What is the JEMScN 2027 exam pattern?
JEMScN is a single 90-minute OMR paper of 100 multiple-choice questions in English. The 2026 pattern is below, and the 2021 to 2025 question papers use the same 100-question, 90-minute format.
