How do the Jharkhand counselling rounds work?
Each round has a merit list, a vacant seat matrix, choice filling, provisional allotment and admission at the college.
- Counselling follows the MCC schedule, so JCECEB dates change when MCC dates change.
- Seats are allotted on merit-cum-choice: your CML rank, category and the order of your choices.
- New candidates could apply before Rounds 2 and 3 to join the merit list.
- Security money is forfeited if you do not take admission after an allotment in Round 2 or a later round.
- Admission stays provisional until your certificates are verified; giving wrong details can cancel it and forfeit the security.
- At Manipal Tata Medical College, reserved candidates choosing an unreserved seat pay the unreserved fee.
