KIITEE 2027 is the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination, conducted by KIIT (Deemed to be University), Bhubaneswar, for admission to its UG, PG and Ph.D. programmes. It is a computer based test held in phases. KIIT has not announced 2027 dates; going by 2026, applications should open in November 2026 and Phase 1 should be in April 2027.

KIITEE 2027 Important Dates
KIIT has not announced the KIITEE 2027 schedule, so the 2027 dates below are expected months based on the 2026 calendar. In 2026 the test ran in five phases: 16 to 20 April, 5 to 7 June, 5 to 7 July, 1 August and 30 August 2026, the last two in remote proctor mode.

How to Apply for KIITEE 2027
You apply for KIITEE online only; there is no printed form. The 2027 form is not open yet, and as of 9 October 2026 the KIITEE website shows KIITEE 2026 as closed. In 2026 the Phase 1 form opened on 10 November 2025, and each later phase had its own application window.
Apply Online for KIITEE 2027
Applications for KIITEE 2027 are expected in November 2026.
- Open the official KIITEE website and choose the online application (Apply Now) link once KIITEE 2027 registration opens.
- Read the instructions for filling the form.
- Fill in the online application form, choose your programme and submit it.
- Upload your photograph, signature and Class 10 pass certificate or mark sheet.
- Note your application number and keep a copy of the printed application form for later reference.

MBA admission at KIIT School of Management and KIIT School of Rural Management is through a separate test, KIITEE Management, applied for on the KSOM website.
How to log in to the KIITEE 2027 candidate portal?
The KIITEE candidate login is used to complete your application, download the admit card, see your result and rank card, and follow online counselling. The 2026 portal is closed, and the 2027 login will open with the next registration; until then, start from the official KIITEE website.
- Open the official KIITEE website and pick the link you need: online application, admit card, result or counselling for your phase.
- New candidates register first; the form gives you an application number, which is your ID for every later login.
- For the result or rank card, enter your application number, your date of birth (day, month and year) and the code shown on the screen. This was the 2026 result login.
- After logging in, download your admit card, rank card or counselling result, depending on the stage of your phase.
- Save or print every document you download; KIIT asks you to keep the admit card until admission is over.

Who can apply for KIITEE 2027?
Eligibility depends on the programme. The main rules below are from the KIITEE 2026 information brochure; KIIT may revise them for 2027.
- B.Tech (4 years): 10+2 with at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together. In 2026 only students who passed 10+2 in 2024 or 2025, or were appearing in 2026, and were born on or after 1 July 2005 could apply.
- B.Tech Biotechnology and Integrated M.Tech Biotechnology: 10+2 with at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, Biology or Biotechnology.
- B.Tech Lateral Entry: three-year engineering diploma with at least 60% aggregate, in a branch that matches the B.Tech branch.
- B.Arch: 10+2 with 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50% aggregate, plus a pass in NATA.
- B.Sc Nursing: 10+2 science with at least 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and a pass in English.
- B.Pharma and D.Pharma: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics and English, with at least 45% aggregate.
- BBA, BCA and B.Com: 10+2 with at least 50%, with Mathematics (or Business Mathematics, Economics or Statistics for BBA) as a subject.
- BA LLB, BBA LLB and B.Sc LLB: 10+2 with at least 45% (science stream for B.Sc LLB).
- Design, film, journalism and BA programmes: 10+2 with at least 50%.
- MCA: graduation with at least 50% and Mathematics in 10+2 or graduation. M.Tech: First Class B.E. or B.Tech in the relevant branch; GATE scorers with 400 or more need not take the test.
- Ph.D.: master’s degree with at least 60% or equivalent CGPA.
Students appearing in their qualifying exam can apply, but they must show the pass certificate at counselling. Otherwise their KIITEE rank is cancelled.
What is the KIITEE 2027 exam pattern?
Every KIITEE paper has 120 multiple choice questions with four options, answered in 150 minutes on a computer. A correct answer gets 4 marks and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer, so each paper is out of 480. Questions are in English only.

How does admission work after KIITEE 2027?
Seats are filled through online counselling, purely on your KIITEE rank. The rules below are from the 2026 brochure.
- KIIT prepares a separate merit list for each programme and notifies a cut-off rank for counselling based on the seats available.
- The counselling schedule is posted on the KIIT website after each result; counselling stops once the KIITEE seats are filled.
- Reservation: 15% of seats for SC, 7.5% for ST and 3% for candidates with locomotor disability. In B.Tech and biotechnology, 30% of seats in each category are for women.
- At counselling you bring your original documents and, in 2026, Rs 75,000 for the admission kit; the balance fee is paid on the reporting day.
- In 2026, candidates who took Phase 4 or 5 in remote proctor mode were not eligible for the KIITEE scholarship scheme.
