KIIT University is going to conduct KIITEE 2018 from April 15 to 24, 2018. On each day, the examination will be held in multiple slots. The University will conduct KIITEE in computer based mode, to select candidates for UG and PG admission. The candidates planning to appear for KIITEE 2018 can now apply. KIITEE 2018

The KIIT University offers both UG and PG courses through KIITEE. The available courses for UG admission are B.Tech, Biotechnology – Dual Degree, B.Sc Nursing, BA LLB/BBA LLB/ B.Sc LLB, BBA, BCA, Bachelor of Design (Fashion/Textile), Bachelor in Film and Televisions Production, B.Arch, B.Tech LE. The PG admission is granted in Master of Mass Communication, MCA LE, MCA, M.Tech, M.Sc (Biotechnology/Applied Microbiology), M.Sc Nursing, MBA, MBA (RM), LLM, Master of Public Health, MHA, Ph.d. As per the reservation criteria of KIITEE 2018, 15% seats are reserved for SC candidates. Whereas, for ST and PH candidates 7.5% and 3% seats are reserved.

KIITEE 2018 Application Form

The University has released the application form. The candidates can access it from the link above. The process for submitting the KIITEE 2018 Application Form is as mentioned below:

  • Choose course or courses for which the candidate aims to apply.
  • Next, click on the ‘Submit’ button and read all the given instructions.
  • Then, click on “Apply Online” button.
  • Enter Personal Details, Center Options, Qualification Details, and Postal Address Information.
  • The candidates will get an Application Number after submitting the details. Candidates will also receive an e-mail regarding the same.
  • After this, the candidates will have to upload scanned Photograph, Signature, and X Marksheet.
  • Lastly, the confirmation page of KIITEE 2018 will be displayed. The candidates are expected to save and download it.

Application Fee: There is no examination or application fee for KIITEE Application Form 2018.

KIITEE 2018 Slot Booking

After registration, the candidates will have to book a slot. The slot booking for KIITEE can also be done online and only the registered candidates will be allowed to do so. For access the KIITEE OTBS, the candidates will have to enter the Application ID and Date of Birth. Once the login has been accessed, the candidates need to choose Test date and slot.

It should be noted that the booking of KITTEE 2018 will be done on the first-come-first-served basis. Hence, if the candidates wish to book a particular test date and slot they must do it as soon as the booking portal opens. It is advised that the candidates check all the aspects before booking a slot because once booked, it will not be changed.

KIITEE 2018 Admit Card

Slot booking is important because only after it the admit card of KIITEE 2018 will be issued. The admit card will be available for download from April 1 to 5, 2018. However, if a candidate does not receive admit card until 5th, they must inform the university. The KIIT Univerity will accept grievance regarding non-issuance of admit card from April 6 to 10, 2018.

It should be noted that the admit card will not be provided offline. However, the candidates will have to get it printed on A-4 sheet and carry it in hardcopy format on the exam day. Candidates lacking admit card will not be allowed to sit for the exam. The KIIT University has also made it clear that candidates must preserve the admit card until the admission process ends. Such is because it will be needed during counselling and final admission.

How to prepare for KIITEE 2018: Students who will apply for one or more of the entrance exams conducted by KIIT University, need to know preparation guidelines. KIITEE 2018 Result and Counselling

KIIT University Entrance Exam 2018 Results can be checked online. The result for indicates performance of candidate in the entrance exam, and includes details such as marks and rank. The basis of determining merit is as per norms of the University and differs for each programme. To check the result,candidates will be required to enter their Application Number and Date of Birth.

  • Merit list of KIITEE 2018 Result will be published separately for each course. Candidate can check his / her rank obtained in the course specific merit list.

Counselling and seat allotment are the processes wherein KIITEE qualified candidates are able to specify preference of seats and are allotted seats on basis of their merit and preference. For KIITEE 2018, KIITEE 2018 Counselling will be done in the first, second, and third weeks of June.

  • Admission in the desired programme will be done on the basis of result of KIITEE 2018 subject to candidate’s fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
  • Counselling schedule, details of seat allotment will be explained in detail in the KIIT University counselling website once the results are announced.

KIITEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria

It is vital to know the eligibility criteria before applying. Before going ahead with the eligibility criteria the candidates should know that if they are in final year of respective degree then they can apply. However, they will be required to produce the pass certificate of the qualifying examination on the day of counseling. The candidates can check the eligibility criteria of KIITEE 2018 from below:

KIITEE Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses

B.Tech – The applicant must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology subjects, from a regular school. The percentage of candidates in the qualifying exam should be more than 60%.

  • 10+2 should have been passed in 2016, 2017.
  • Candidates appearing for 10+2 in the year 2018 can also apply
  • Applicant should have been born on or after July 01, 1997.

B.Tech-LE (3 years) – Candidates should have qualified 3 years Diploma courses in Engineering, with an aggregate score of 60%.

  • The diploma has been done by State Council of Technical Education of any state.
  • The course and eligible diploma are as below.
  • Applicant should have been born on or after July 01, 1997.

B.Arch – Architecture aspirants should have secured 60% or more marks in 10+2 and must have had Mathematics as the core subject.

  • Candidates should have also passed NATA 2018.
  • Applicant should have been born on or after July 01, 1997.

B.Sc. Nursing (4 years) – Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (PCBE).

  • The minimum acceptable mark aggregate in the 10+2 is 45% marks.
  • The lower and upper age limit is 17 and 35 years, respectively, years, as on December 31, 2018.

B.A.LL.B/BBA LL.B/B.Sc LL.B(5 years) – Aspirants should have secured on or above 45% marks in 10+2.

  • Age should be less than 21 years, as on July 01, 2018.

BBA(3 Years) – One of the core subjects in 10+2 should be Mathematics/ Business Mathematics/ Economics/ Statistics. Candidates could have studied any stream with the mandatory subject and should have secured at least 50% marks.

  • The candidates must have been born on or after July 01, 1997.

BCA (3 Years) – Qualifying exam, i.e. 10+2, should have been qualifying with a minimum of 50% marks and Mathematics as one of the core subjects.

  • Only those candidates can apply who were born on or after July 01, 1997.

Bachelor of Design (Fashion/Textile) (4 years) and Bachelor of Film & Television Production (3 years) and Master of Mass Communication(Integrated)(5 Years)– Aspirants of this course should have qualified 10+2 / equivalent with aggregate of more than 50% marks.

  • Only those candidates can apply who were born on or after July 01, 1997.

Note: IB Diploma from International Baccalaureate Organization, Geneva, is condidered equivalent to 10+2 by KIIT University.

KIITEE Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses

MCA (3 years) – Candidates must be a Graduate with minimum 50% marks.

  • Must have had Mathematics in 10+2 or Graduation Level.
  • The date of birth should be on or after July 01, 1994.

MCA (Lateral Entry) (2 Years) – Candidates should have passed or appeared for Bachelor’s Degree course in 2017. The minimum marks to be obtained in Degree courses is 50%.

  • Degree course should be in BCA or B.Sc (IT / Computer Science) from any recognized University.
  • Candidates should have also passed in Mathematics as course at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level.Business Mathematics at +2 level are not permitted.
  • Candidate’s date of birth should be on or after July 01, 1994.

M.Tech (2 years) – Candidate must possess B.Tech or B.E equivalent degree in any branch of Engineering and Technology. In the degree course, the candidate should have secured a First Class CGPA.

  • Qualifying candidates of GATE will be given preference during selection.
  • GATE qualifiers with more than 400 score need not apply for KIITEE 2018.
  • Candidate should have been born on or after 01.07.1994.
  • Apart from these, the M.Tech aspirants also need to fulfil the Course-wise eligibility criteria of KIITEE 2018.

LL.M (1 Year) – Candidate must possess B.A.LLB / BBA LLB / B.Sc. LLB / B.L degree with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

M.Sc. Nursing (2 Year) – The required minimum education qualification is B.Sc.Nursing/ B.Sc.Hons.Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with at least 55% marks.

  • The required minimum marks for SC/ST candidates is 5%.
  • Candidates must be a registered Nurse or Midwife / equivalent with state Nursing Registration Council.
  • Candidates should have minimum of 1 year work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing.
  • Candidates need to ensure that they are medically fit.

Master of Public Health (2 Year) – Candidates need to have a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science with minimum of 50% marks.

Master of Hospital Administration (2 Years) – The candidates applying for this course need to ensure that they posses MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS BNYS/ BPT/ B.Sc. Nursing (Basic or Post Basic)/ B.Pharm/ BSc in Allied Health Sciences/ Bachelor degree in Arts/Commerce/Science/Law from a recognized university with min. 50% marks aggregate.

M.A. (Yoga Therapy) (2 Years) – Only those applicants should apply who possess Degree in Arts / Commerce / Science / Arts / Law with minimum aggregate of 50%.

KIITEE Research Program Eligibility Criteria

Ph.D – The candidates should have had M.Tech / M.E. / MBA / MCA degree with at least 60% marks or CGPA.

  • However, candidates possessing M.Sc. / MA / M.Com / LLM degree with a minimum of 55% marks are also eligible to apply.
