How to Use KUET Previous Year Papers?
- Find your subject in every year. Each KUET paper is for one programme. Open the same subject on the 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 pages to see which topics come back.
- Solve 2024 and 2023 first, because they are the newest papers on this page. Keep 2021 and 2022 for chapter revision.
- Guess between two. A wrong answer costs only 0.25 mark against 1 for a right one. Once you are down to two options, a guess is worth about +0.375 marks on average.
- Use the 2026 keys for your subject. The 2026 papers are not available, but the 42 keys (many revised or final) show the answers DACE accepted for each programme.
- Plan for July 2027. Applications are expected in June 2027, so you have about eight months. Two papers a month covers your subject’s four years twice before the test.

How many questions are there in a KUET paper?
Most papers have 60 multiple-choice questions of 1 mark each. 1-year Masters candidates write 20 more, for 80 marks. MTTM has 120 MCQs.
Is there negative marking in KUET?
Yes. 0.25 mark is deducted for each wrong answer, and only a positive score is considered for selection.
Which KUET subjects have papers here?
2021 to 2024 cover M.A. languages and social sciences, M.Sc. sciences, M.Com, MCA, M.Tech, M.Ed., M.P.Ed., MLIS, 3-year LL.B. and B.A. LL.B., among others. 2023 has the most, with 54 papers.
Does this page have KUET answer keys?
Only for 2026: 42 subject-wise keys, many of them revised or final. The 2021 to 2024 papers have no keys, and the 2026 papers are not available yet.
Are there descriptive papers in KUET?
Yes, for two programmes. Social Work and Mass Communication and Journalism add a descriptive Paper II after the 60-question Paper I.
