Going by 2026, when scores came out on 11 August 2026, the 2027 result is expected in August 2027. Only candidates with a positive score are considered.

How to Check the KUET 2027 Score
- Open kashmiruniversity.net or uok.edu.in.
- Click the Admissions tab on the home page and go to Active Links.
- Click the link to check your 2-year and 1-year Masters and LL.B. entrance test score.
- Log in with the username and password you created while applying.
- Your score for each test is shown on the dashboard. Save a screenshot or printout.
If your score is not shown, you may not have updated your academic details. In 2026 DACE gave such candidates one chance to submit them in person the next morning.
How are KUET merit and selection lists made?
DACE ranks candidates in each programme by KUET score and fills seats by category as per the seat matrix. Separate lists are drawn for 1-year and 2-year programmes.
- Merit lists are posted on the Merit Lists page of the university website.
- Selection notifications name the provisionally selected candidates. In 2026 the first one came on 13 August 2026.
- Self-financed seats have a separate notification and use the same KUET score.
- NRI and foreign national seats go by marks in the qualifying exam.
- Seats left after two selection lists are filled by online counselling for waiting-list candidates.
Programmes where applicants were fewer than seats skip the test, and selection is on graduation marks.
What is the expected KUET 2027 cut off?
KUET has no fixed cut off, so the best guide is the entrance points (out of 60) of the last candidate selected in each category in the first 2026 selection lists for 2-year Masters and LL.B. at the main campus.

What to Do After You Are Selected
Download the admission form with your entrance roll number and report to the department, centre or campus with original documents within the dates in the selection notification. In 2026 the first list had to finish admission from 14 to 20 August 2026.
- Marks cards of the qualifying exam
- Domicile certificate
- Character and provisional certificates of the last institution
- Migration certificate, if applicable
- Reserved category certificate, if you were selected in a category
- An affidavit before a First Class Judicial Magistrate that you are not in any other regular programme and your documents are genuine
If you miss the deadline, you lose the seat and are not considered again until the merit list is exhausted. Students preparing for the next attempt can use the KUET previous year papers.
