MICA will declare MICAT 2027 scores on 18 December 2026 for MICAT I and on 28 February 2027 for MICAT II. Sub-section scores are normalised, and if you take both rounds the better MICAT score is considered. Shortlisted candidates then go on to a group exercise and personal interview, or an interview only.

How to Check the MICAT 2027 Result
- Open the MICA application portal on or after the score date for your round.
- Log in with your registered email ID and password.
- Open the MICAT score section on your application dashboard.
- Check your scores and save or print the page for the interview stage.
MICAT I scores come on 18 December 2026 and MICAT II scores on 28 February 2027. MICA also writes to candidates on the registered email ID, so keep checking it.
What will the MICAT 2027 scorecard show?
The scorecard gives your section-wise and overall MICAT performance for the round you took, and MICA informs shortlisted candidates about the interview stage.
How are MICAT 2027 scores calculated?
Each sub-section score, for example Verbal Ability, is converted into a normalised score using statistical methods across all qualifying candidates.
- If you take both MICAT I and MICAT II, the better MICAT score is considered.
- The psychometric section has no right or wrong answers and no negative marking.
- Short-answer QA questions carry no negative marking.
- For PGDM, PGDM-C and PGCM-SM, your CAT, XAT or GMAT score is also used. IIMs, XLRI and GMAC have no role in MICA’s selection.
Does MICA publish a MICAT 2027 cut off?
No. MICA does not publish cut-off scores. It applies section-wise qualifying criteria that can change each cycle, and judges your sections together with your profile and interview. If you apply for both PGDM and PGDM-C, the Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation cut off may be higher for PGDM.
What happens after the MICAT 2027 result?
Shortlisted candidates are called for the next stage of their programme. Interview dates are not announced yet; in the 2026 cycle they were held in March.

- If you are merit-listed for more than one programme, accept only one offer by the deadline in the offer letter.
- Accepting one offer means giving up your place on the other merit lists, and the choice cannot be changed.
