MICAT 2022
The exam will be organized by the Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad. The admission process of MICA is concluded in 3 steps, which involves applying for admission with CAT/ XAT/GMAT scores, appearing for MICAT-I or II or both, and then participating in group exercise and personal interview. MICAT 2022 Registration, Application Form
The application form is available in online mode only. Here are the key details.
- The official website i.e. mica.ac.in hosts the MICAT registration 2022 cum application form.
- Candidates must upload their passport size photo and signature in the prescribed format.
- It is also necessary to provide a valid email account and phone number.
- In order to apply online MICAT 2022 candidates need to register first. Then, they need to fill in some details including the personal details, academic details, and pay fee.
Application Fee: Candidates need to pay an amount of Rs. 2100/- by online mode.
Mode of Payment: Candidates can pay fees online mode via net banking, credit card, debit card.

Who can apply?

Nationality: Both Indians and NRIs can apply for MICAT 2022.
Educational Qualifications:
- Appeared in one of the three exams CAT 2021 / XAT 2022 / GMAT (2020 onwards).
- Have a valid Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) system or equivalent qualification in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)
- Those appearing for final examinations towards a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply.
MICAT 2022 GE & PI Shortlisted List
MICA will be released the shortlisted candidate’s list for GE & PI. It will be released online at mica.ac.in. Candidates can check the shortlisted list by using the MICA application number through the below direct link.
Preparation of shortlist for GE-PI
- Section A of MICAT (Psychometric test) is a qualifier.
- Those who qualify in section A of MICAT 2022, MICA checks their relative performance on CAT / XAT / GMAT. Then MICA considers those who clear a minimum cut-off in CAT /XAT total percentile/GMAT score.
- For candidates cleared in above step, MICA assesses their Section B of MICAT. They qualify candidates on basis of relative performance subject to a minimum cut-off in Normalized Scores of Section B of MICAT
- Then MICA assesses Section C of MICAT for above qualified candidates. Each section will have its own cut-off.
- Those who qualify on the basis of all above (on the basis of relative performance subject to a minimum cut-off in Normalized Scores of Section C of MICAT ) shall be considered for short listing for GE and PI.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for GE and PI at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata & Mumbai. (GE & PI candidate list is prepared on the Composite Score formula.

MICA Program’s Overview –
MICA’s PGP offering has two programs i.e. PGDM-C and PGDM, as per the AICTE (accreditation body), regulatory requirement, for the admission process for the Academic Year 2022-2024.
- Candidates have the choice to opt for the PGDM-C and/or PGDM program.
- Candidates who choose to opt for both the program will have to mark the program of their first preference as priority 1 and the other program of second preference as priority 2.
MICAT 2022 Admit Card
To appear in the exam, candidates must have the hall ticket in hand. This is what you need to know about the MICAT admit card 2022.
- Candidates can download MICAT 2022 admit card from the official website of MICA i.e. mica.ac.in.
- To download the admit card, candidates need to access the login link, then fill in login ID and password.
- Candidates must carry a hard copy of MICAT admit card / hall ticket on the day of the entrance exan, along with other necessary documents.
- The hall ticket consists of personal details of the candidate and exam details like reporting timings, address of the test center, etc.

The selection will be based on the following three steps –

MICAT 2022 Final List Preparation
Final admission list based on CAT/XAT/GMAT scores, MICAT scores, GE, and PI.
Once a candidate, as per the merit list, is offered admission from the program of their 1st priority, their name will be automatically be withdrawn from the list of the candidates in the program of their 2nd priority. If the candidate, as per the merit list is offered admission in his 2nd priority then, the candidate has to choose to accept the offer with an undertaking that they are willing to withdraw their name from the 1st priority list or refuse the current offer and go with their 1st priority.
For all those who meet the criteria described above, their final composite score shall be created based on the following weightage:
- CAT/XAT/GMAT: 20%
- MICAT: 30%
- GE: 20%
- PI: 30%
