What an MP PNST Paper Looks Like
The 2024 PDF is MPESB’s own question paper report for the combined PNST and GNMTST 2024, opening with the 9 September 2024 Shift 1 paper. Each question is printed in English and then Hindi, with options A to D, the correct answer and the subject below it. The 100 questions run in five blocks of 20.
| Subject | Questions | Marks |
|---|---|---|

| Chemistry | 21–40 (20) | 20 |
| Biology | 41–60 (20) | 20 |
| General English | 61–80 (20) | 20 |
| General Knowledge | 81–100 (20) | 20 |
These five questions, one from each subject, are from the 9 September 2024 Shift 1 paper, with the correct answers printed in MPESB’s paper.

MP PNST 2024 (9 Sep, Shift 1), Q93 (General Knowledge) · correct answer printed in MPESB paper
Many General Knowledge questions in this paper are on events of the months just before the test, such as Pakistan’s new Prime Minister in March 2024 and an Everest climb in May 2024. Old papers help less there, so follow the news of the past year.
How to Use MP PNST Previous Year Papers?
- Keep to 72 seconds a question. 100 questions in 2 hours leaves just over a minute each. Short recall questions in Biology, English and GK can save time for Physics numericals.
- Guess with care. With 1 mark for a right answer and 0.25 cut for a wrong one, a blind guess among four options is worth only about +0.06 marks. Ruling out one option lifts it to about +0.17, so guess only after you can cut at least one.
- Solve 2024 first, then 2023 and 2025, because they are MPESB’s own papers. Check 2024 and 2023 with the printed answers; for 2025, check against your textbook since no key is on the page.
- Use 2016 and 2019 for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Those papers are from MP PEB’s combined GNTST and PNST, so their science questions are good practice but their GK is out of date.
- Plan for July 2027. About eight months are left. One timed paper every two weeks, with a daily current-affairs habit for GK, covers every paper here at least twice.
