The university has not announced it yet. Going by 2026, applications should open in April 2027 and the offline exam should be held around early June 2027.

MZUEEE 2027 dates are not announced yet, so the table shows expected months based on 2026, when the exam was held on 2 June and Regular Entry merit lists came out the next day.

How to Apply for MZUEEE 2027
You apply online only, on the Mizoram University admission portal run on Samarth. The 2027 form is not open yet; in 2026 the portal took applications from 1 April to 21 May, after a one-day extension caused by portal downtime.
Apply Online for MZUEEE 2027
Applications for MZUEEE 2027 are expected in April 2027.
- Open the MZU admission portal and register with your name, email ID and phone number.
- Activate the account with the OTP sent to your email, then complete your candidate profile. The profile cannot be changed after you submit it.
- Select the B.Tech programme (Regular Entry or Lateral Entry) and fill in your details. Lateral Entry applicants enter their diploma details in the Class XII/Equivalent area.
- Upload your photo, signature, Class X and XII (or diploma) documents and the medical fitness report in the MZU format.
- Pay the fee online and click Submit Application. Download the PDF of the form and keep it; no hard copy is sent.
- Fill in the separate Google Form to choose your exam centre (Aizawl or Guwahati). If you skip it, the committee allots a centre.

If the fee is deducted but the portal still shows it unpaid, wait an hour, log in, open Payments and use Check Payment on the failed entry. If it still shows Failure, the payment did not go through and you must pay again.
Who can apply for MZUEEE 2027?
Regular Entry needs Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics; Lateral Entry needs a 3-year engineering diploma in a relevant branch. The 2026 rules are below; the 2027 brochure may update the passing years.

Age rules for Regular Entry follow JEE (Main) 2026, as stated by MZU. Admission is finally subject to Clause 3(a) of the Mizoram University B.Tech Ordinance, checked with original certificates.
What is the MZUEEE 2027 exam pattern?
The 2027 pattern is not announced yet. In 2026 MZUEEE was one 2-hour offline paper of 90 multiple-choice questions marked on an OMR sheet.

Which B.Tech branches are offered through MZUEEE 2027?
MZUEEE fills B.Tech seats in five branches at the School of Engineering and Technology, Mizoram University, Tanhril, Aizawl:

According to the brochure, 50% of B.Tech seats are filled through JEE (Main) and the rest through MZUEEE. The brochure puts the tuition and other fees at roughly Rs 25,000 to 35,000 per semester (tentative 2026 structure).
How does MZUEEE admission work after the exam?
Admission is by MZUEEE merit rank and physical counselling at Mizoram University. Merit lists are published category-wise as PDFs on mzu.edu.in, usually within a day or two of the exam; see the MZUEEE 2027 result page for details.
- Shortlisted candidates report for counselling with the admit card, original certificates, mark sheets and a photo ID.
- Seats are allotted branch-wise from the merit list and category pools; the selection stays provisional until document verification.
- Selected candidates must pay the admission fee by the deadline in the selection notice, or the seat is cancelled.
- Vacant seats go to later rounds from the waitlist. In 2026 there were three Regular Entry rounds and an internal branch sliding round.
