NBEMS will declare the NBE FET 2026 result on natboard.edu.in. The FET 2025 result came on 18 April 2026, five weeks after the 14 March exam, so the FET 2026 result is expected in April 2027. You qualify if you score at or above the 50th percentile of your fellowship course or clubbed group.

How to Check the NBE FET Result 2026
- Go to natboard.edu.in and open the FET page.
- Open the FET 2026 result notice, which lists the cut-off score of each course or group.
- To get your scorecard, open the Applicant Login once NBEMS makes scorecards available.
- Log in with your User ID (application ID) and password.
- Download the scorecard and keep printed copies for counselling.
For FET 2025, scorecards opened on 30 April 2026, about two weeks after the result. They stay downloadable for only 6 months, and NBEMS does not provide them after that.
What will the NBE FET 2026 scorecard show?
The scorecard shows your score out of 400 and whether you qualified in your fellowship course or clubbed group.
Who qualifies in NBE FET 2026?
Candidates at or above the 50th percentile in their own question paper are declared qualified. NBEMS ranks all candidates of a course or clubbed group (Indian and international) by score, and the cut-off is the score at the 50th percentile position. There is no scaling or normalisation.
NBEMS publishes a separate merit list for each fellowship course, and a separate FPIS merit list in each specialty. Ties are broken in this order:
- Fewer wrong answers in the whole paper.
- Higher score in Part B.
- Fewer wrong answers in Part B.
- Older candidate ranks higher.
- Higher aggregate percentage in all MBBS professional exams.
What is the expected NBE FET 2026 cut off?
The FET 2025 qualifying cut-offs below (2026, official result notice of 18 April 2026) are the best reference for FET 2026. Each is the 50th percentile score of that paper, out of 400.

Cut-offs depend on how each group’s candidates score, so FET 2026 figures will differ. In FET 2025, 17 questions across specialties were found technically incorrect or ambiguous and every candidate got full marks for them.
Can you challenge NBE FET 2026 questions or get re-evaluation?
You can challenge a question only for a technical error, with supporting medical literature, within 2 calendar days of the exam, through the NBEMS Communication Web Portal from your registered email ID. Challenges about difficulty level are not accepted, and there is no re-evaluation, rechecking or re-totalling.
What happens after the NBE FET 2026 result?
NBEMS fills FNB seats through its own centralised, merit-based online counselling at counseling.nbe.edu.in. For the FNB 2025 session, Round 1 registration and choice filling ran from 9 to 13 July 2026, followed by Round 2 and a final mop-up round whose result came on 25 September 2026.
- Register for counselling and fill your choices of accredited hospitals.
- After an allotment, pay the first-year course fee online through the counselling portal to confirm the seat (Rs 1,25,000 a year for Indian and SAARC candidates, USD 5,000 for other international candidates, as per the latest bulletin).
- Carry your MBBS and PG degree certificates, proof that your PG degree is recognised by NMC, and your registration documents for verification.
- Join the allotted hospital within the deadline; admission is also subject to medical fitness.
Your FET result is valid only for that admission session and cannot be carried forward. Eligibility is finally checked at counselling and admission.
