NMAT Result 2018 will be announced for window 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 one by one. NMAT Result can be checked as per availability for different window exams that are going to be held on different dates. Candidates who will be appearing for NMIMS Management Admission Test would be able to login to download NMAT scorecard 2018 as per schedule that will be released. How to Check NMAT 2018 Result?

Candidates can check their NMAT Result by simply following the instructions below:

  • Candidates should start checking the result link for activation near around the tentative date prescribed. (it is possible that the result is announced earlier)
  • You may have to log in using your Email ID and Password (password is generated by candidates at the time of registration)
  • If there is a requirement of Date of Birth, then select the correct date from the date picker to enter it in DD/MM/YYYY format.
  • Enter the security code to see the tab “Get Your NMAT 2018 Result”

The status of the shortlisted candidates is displayed.

Special Note– The e-score is only meant for immediate passing of information. It does not serve as an original scorecard. The original score is sent to the school that you select to receive your scorecard from. Candidates need to report to the selected school to collect their scorecard.

Score Report

NMAT Test scores will be published on the official website at nmat.org.in within 4-5 weeks after the entrance exam. The result or score is the same thing. Therefore do not get confused you will not get any different scorecard apart from the result. The availability of the result shall be communicated to you through Email. To access the result/score page, you should follow the above-mentioned steps carefully. If there is any error, you can let the authorities know the same. Make an essential inquiry by specifying your issue in clear words.

How to obtain NMAT Score Card?

The NMAT 2018 Scorecard has to be collected by the candidates themselves from the school that they opt for while filling the application form. Therefore, the candidates will then get to collect it directly from the school. What you can do is, you can carry a xerox copy of the NMAT score declared. It shall help the officials authenticate your details and pace up the process.

What is included in your NMAT scorecard?

The NMAT Scorecard includes a scaled score for each section. For example, in quantitative skills portion, minimum marks is 0 while maximum marks that can be fetched is 144. Therefore, the marks that can be scored in this section range from 0-144. The following table lists the range of possible scores obtainable in each section.

NMAT Score Vs Percentile

Scaled scores – The scores are equated and are placed on a common scale to ensure that scores are comparable across test forms. The process undertakes to eliminate the chances of scores being impacted by different candidates getting different test forms.

Percentile scores – The percentile rank or score shows how a test taker scored in comparison to all other test takers who took the exam. For example, if a test taker is said to be at the 75th percentile, the test taker scored better than 75% of the test takers who took the NMAT by GMAC exam. Also, it serves as a compatible meter to fetch the essential information such as the number of candidates appeared, passed candidates and possible cut off for the exam etc.

Admission Criteria for Colleges Accepting NMAT Score

The various colleges/ institutes/ universities accept the certain NMAT by GMAC score range. The cutoff score as given below is as per the last year’s information. The admission criteria for these colleges will be as follows:

  1. MISB Bocconi, Mumbai
  • Last year’s NMAT by GMAC average score for admission to MISB Bocconi, Mumbai, was in the upwards of 200.
  • However, MISB Bocconi does not indicate any “cut off” restriction. A high test score is definitely helpful, but – for instance– an average score could be compensated by the candidate’s excellence in other areas. A strong score will be helpful so as to increase your chances of admission, tuition waiver and scholarships.

2. IBS Business School

  • The requirement of work experience is not necessary.
  • It may conduct Group Discussion and Personal Interview as the admission criteria for the qualifiers of NMAT 2018.

3. SVKM’s NMIMS

  • The management programs under NMIMS are offered at Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad campuses.
  • The cut-off for NMAT 2018 shall be provided to students in shortlisting communication for CD/PI.
  • There is no mandatory requirement for work experience. However, for all the full-time programs, candidates with two and more years of post-qualification work experience will be preferred.
  • The shortlisted candidates will then have to attend a Case Discussion (CD) process and a Personal Interview as a part of selection process.

4. Shiv Nadar University – School of Management & Entrepreneurship

  • The cutoff score for NMAT 2018 was the 60 percentile.
  • There is no mandatory requirement for work experience.
  • The shortlisted aspirants need to appear for a WAT (Writing Analysis Test) and a Personal Interview.

5. Alliance School of Business, Alliance University

  • The NMAT by GMAC score range for admission to Alliance University probably be 100 and above.
  • The candidates with a work experience will be preferred, but it is not a mandatory requirement.
  • For the students who have scored below 100 in NMAT 2018, can appear for AMAT.
  • The selected students have to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

6. BML Munjal University – School of Management

  • There is no cutoff score for NMAT by GMAC for admission to the BML Munjal University.
  • The candidates with a work experience will be preferred, however, it is not a mandatory requirement.
  • The shortlisted aspirants need to appear for a CAT (Case Analysis Test) and a Personal Interview.

7. LM Thapar School of Management

  • Candidates with a work experience will surely get additional credit in the application
  • A personal interview will be conducted by a panel of academicians and industry experts. The parameters will include goal clarity, personal disposition, subject knowledge, clarity of thought and communication skills.
  • Also, a Group Interaction process will be conducted which will have 8- 10 students presenting their views on various topics. This is called an Attitude Assessment Activity (AAA). This is to analyze the individual’s knowledge, soft skills and overall attitude towards learning. 

8. Woxsen School of Business

  • For admission to PGDM, there is no requirement of work experience. Whereas for PGPXP program, candidates with minimum 2 Years work experience will be preferred,
  • The shortlisted candidates will then have to appear for the Personal Interview. The PI shall be held in the month of January 2018.

9. UPES College of Management and Economics Studies

  • The shortlisted candidates will then have to appear for the GD/ PI.

10. BSE Institute

  • There is no cut off restriction, however, a strong score will increase the chances of admission, tuition waiver, and scholarships.
  • There is no mandatory requirement for work experience.
  • The shortlisted candidates will have to attend a personal interview as a part of selection process.
  • In case if the candidate’s application is shortlisted, the information about the Interview will be sent via email.

Surprisingly NMAT 2016 saw more candidates from Non-engineering background. According to the institute, NMAT has experienced a Pan-India participation of candidates spread across India. As a consequence, an impressive of 46.44%  of candidates from non–engineering registered last year. This year as well, more candidates will appear.
