NMAT 2026 results come test by test, not on one date. You see a score preview on screen as soon as you finish, and in the 2025 cycle GMAC issued the official scorecard within 48 hours. Since tests run from 2 November to 20 December 2026, scores will come out across that window.

You check your NMAT 2026 official score in your mba.com account after your test.
- Note the score preview shown on screen when you finish the test.
- Open the official NMAT page and sign in to your mba.com account.
- Open your NMAT score report once it is posted.
- Download and save the scorecard. Schools may ask for it at the interview stage.
What does the NMAT 2026 scorecard show?
The scorecard gives a scaled score for each section, your total and a percentile.
- Each section is scored from 12 to 120 and the total from 36 to 360.
- The percentile shows how your score compares with other NMAT takers.
- Scores are sent to the schools you chose at registration. Extra score reports beyond the first five cost Rs 400 each + taxes.
What is the expected NMAT 2026 cut off?
There is no single NMAT cut off: each school sets its own. The best guide is NMIMS, the largest NMAT user, whose latest shortlisting cut off for MBA admission 2026 (NMAT 2025 scores, as reported by Careers360 on 16 March 2026) is below.

You must clear both the sectional and the total score. NMIMS lowered the sectional cut off to 60 from 62 the year before. Cut offs for NMAT 2026 scores will be set by each school after the testing window.
What happens after the NMAT 2026 result?
After the result, each school runs its own selection, so follow the process of every school you applied to.
- NMIMS shortlists on NMAT sectional and total scores, using your first attempt only.
- Shortlisted NMIMS candidates take a Competency Test and/or Personal Interview in person, with the call letter on the NMIMS dashboard.
- The NMIMS merit list combines NMAT score, interview, competency test, work experience and past academics.
- Other schools announce their own shortlists, interviews and merit lists.
