Exam pattern of SNAP indicates details such as sections in it, number of questions, total marks. Moreover it informs of exam mode and duration. Also it is important to note type of questions and marking scheme.
Exam pattern of SNAP is as follows.
- There are overall 150 questions.
- Maximum marks that can be obtained in SNAP exam is 150.
- For an incorrect answer, 25% of mark is deducted as negative marking.
- Duration of exam is 2 hours.
SNAP Question Paper with Answers
Until 2016, SNAP was a pen and paper based exam. Candidates got a hard copy of question paper and they marked answers in OMR sheet. However, they could not take question paper back with them. Thus, there is no physical copy of question paper directly available from candidates. However, books on SNAP preparation contain past year papers with answers as well as mock tests.

It is important to know SNAP Syllabus to prepare for the exam. Before we proceed, it is important to point out that SIU does not release any official syllabus for SNAP test. Nevertheless, education experts have analysed past year papers (earlier SNAP used to be held in offline mode) and concluded a general syllabus.
