SNAP 2026: Exam Dates (13, 19, 26 Dec), Registration, Pattern, Fee

SNAP 2026 (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) is the MBA entrance test of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, for 32 MBA programmes at 17 Symbiosis institutes. It is a 60-minute computer-based test held on 13, 19 and 26 December 2026; you can take up to three. Registration is open till 25 November 2026.

SNAP 2026 Important Dates

SIU has announced the full SNAP 2026 schedule: registration closes on 25 November 2026, admit cards come out on 7, 11 and 18 December 2026 for the three tests, and the result is due on 12 January 2027.

How to Apply for SNAP 2026

You apply online on the SNAP portal, where one account handles the SNAP test fee and the separate fee for each Symbiosis programme you want. Registration and payment close on 25 November 2026, and no change is allowed after you register.

1. Open the official SNAP 2026 website and click Register. Read the instructions and accept the terms.
2. Fill in your details exactly as in your documents and upload a recent colour passport-size photograph.
3. Click Save and Continue, then enter the OTP sent to your mobile number and email ID.
4. Note the SNAP ID and password that arrive by email and SMS. Use this SNAP ID in all communication with SIU.
5. Log in, choose how many tests you want to take (up to three) with your test city preferences, and pay Rs 2,550 per test by BillDesk, Easebuzz or demand draft.
6. Register for each programme you want and pay Rs 1,000 per programme. Without the programme fee you are not considered for that programme, whatever your SNAP score.

Both fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. A demand draft must reach the Symbiosis Test Secretariat in Pune by 3:00 PM on 25 November 2026. Test dates and cities are allotted first come, first served, and cannot be changed after payment. You may still pay a programme fee after 25 November, until that programme’s own closing date.

Who can apply for SNAP 2026?

You need a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or Institution of National Importance with at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade, or 45% for SC and ST candidates. Some programmes add their own conditions.

• MBA (Business Analytics) at SCMHRD: at least two years of full-time work experience.
• MBA (Infrastructure Development and Management) at SCMHRD: non-engineering graduates need 12 months of experience in an infrastructure-related sector.
• MBA (Operations Management) dual degree with Durham University Business School at SIOM: engineering graduates (BE / B Tech) only; final-year students may apply, subject to scoring 50% (45% for SC / ST).
• MBA (Food Technology and Food Enterprise Management) at SSCANS: graduates of specific disciplines such as food technology, hotel management or home science.
• Degrees from foreign universities for the dual degree programmes need an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SIU does not refund fees if you register for a programme you are not eligible for, so check the official programme-wise eligibility page before paying.

What is the SNAP 2026 exam pattern?

SNAP 2026 has 60 multiple-choice questions for 60 marks in 60 minutes, split into four sections. The 2026 bulletin adds a new Ethics, Morality and Values section to the earlier three.

• Mode: computer-based test; each question has four options.
• Marking: 1 mark for a correct answer; 25% of the marks is deducted for each wrong answer.
• Sections can be attempted in any order within the 60 minutes. PwD candidates get 20 minutes extra per hour.
• If you take more than one test, your higher score is used for the final percentile. SIU does not normalise scores; it balances question difficulty across the three tests instead.

Which institutes accept SNAP 2026 scores?

SNAP 2026 is compulsory for 32 MBA programmes at 17 Symbiosis institutes in Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Hyderabad, NOIDA and Bengaluru, for the 2027-28 academic year.

• Pune: SIBM Pune, SCMHRD, SIIB, SICSR, SIDTM, SIMS, SIMC, SCIT, SIHS, SSBF, Symbiosis School of Sports Sciences (SSSS) and SSCANS.
• Nashik: Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management (SIOM).
• Other campuses: SIBM Bengaluru, SIBM Hyderabad, SIBM Nagpur and SIBM NOIDA.

Some SIU postgraduate programmes, such as M.Sc (Computer Applications), Master of Public Health and M.Tech courses, do not use SNAP. Their admission details are on the respective institute websites.

How do Symbiosis institutes select students after SNAP 2026?

Each institute shortlists candidates for a Group Exercise and Personal Interaction (GE-PI) on the overall SNAP percentile, with a separate cut off for every programme. If you are shortlisted for several programmes, you attend the GE-PI for each one.
