SNAP 2020 Result – SIU announces the result of the entrance test in online mode. Candidates who appear for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test can check scorecard on snaptest.org. The candidates need SNAP ID and password to download SNAP 2020 scorecard. Candidates who clear the minimum cut off of an institute are invited for GE-PIWAT rounds by the respective college. Final merit list is prepared on the basis of score of entrance test, Group Exercise, Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test. SNAP 2020 Result
There are total 29 institutes of Symbiosis International University. However, only 16 institutes offer MBA and M.Sc programmes based on SNAP test. Check the schedule of events related to SNAP 2020 result in the table below.

How is SNAP 2020 Result Calculated?
The raw score of candidates is calculated as per final answer key of SNAP 2020. The marking scheme given below is taken into consideration to compute the result of Symbiosis National Aptitude Test.
For Normal Questions
- 1.5 mark is added to the total for each correct answer in General English Section and Analytical & Logical Reasoning Section.
- 1 marks is added to the total for each correct answer in Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency section.
- 1/4th marks are deducted for a wrong answer, no matter whichever section question is in.
For Special Quesions
- 2 marks are awarded for each correct answer.
- 1/4th , i.e, 0.5 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.
Using the method given above, the candidates arrive at the total score of SNAP 2020, out of maximum 150 marks.
SNAP 2020 Cutoff
Each institute of SIU that offers admission through SNAP prescribes a minimum cut off percentile for their admission process. Only those candidates who cross this threshold are invited to take part in institute-level GE-PIWAT process. Check last 2 years’ cut-off percentiles from the table given below.

How to Check SNAP 2020 Result?
The candidates can only check SNAP result online. Other than this, there is no other medium to check it. The step-by-step instructions to check the result are as follows:
Step 1 – Visit the official website, snaptest.org and look for the SNAP 2020 result link. Alternatively, use the direct link that will be given on this page to check the result.
Step 2 – Login window is going to appear on the screen. Enter SNAP ID and Password to proceed further.

Step 3 – Submit the login credentials.
Step 4 – SNAP 2020 Scorecard is going to open on the screen. Check your score. Also, download and print out the scorecard for future references.
It is recommended to use a laptop or desktop computer to download the scorecard.
How to Recover Password to Check SNAP 2020 Result?
The result of the test is only made available in the candidate login. Hence, login password is essentially needed to check the result. In case you have forgotten the password, use the steps given below to retrieve your password.
Step 1 – Go to the login portal.
Step 2 – There is a ‘Forgot Password?’ option below the space to input login credentials. Click on this link.

Step 3 – On clicking this link, a new window appears. Here, put in name of the applicant, registered email id and date of birth in the boxes provided.

Step 4 – Click on the Submit button at the bottom. Password of the applicant is sent via email to the registered email id. Open the mail inbox, get the password and enter it on login portal to download the SNAP 2020 result.

What After SNAP 2020 Result is Declared?
Based on the overall percentile of SNAP, the candidates are shortlisted for further admission process, i.e, GE-PIWAT by the SIU Postgraduate colleges. The information regarding the schedule of GE-PIWAT is published on the websites of the respective institutes.
Shortlisted Candidates have to go through following rounds
- Group Exercise (GE)
- Personal Interaction (PI)
- Writing Ability Test (WAT)
These are undertaken at institute level. A brief outline regarding these rounds is given here.
Group Exercise (GE) – In this round, candidates have to solve logical puzzle as a group. At times, the institute also gives a case study and candidates have to read it and then participate in open discussion.
Personal Interview (PI) – Candidates have to appear before an interview panel. The panel asks them questions on a vide variety of topics. The purpose of this round is to analyse the candidates on their personality, thinking behaviour and suitability for admission.
Written Ability Test (WAT) – As the name says, the writing skills of the candidates are tested here. The candidates have to write a few words on a picture or topic assigned to them.
Attending all rounds mentioned above is necessary. Those who miss any of the components are not taken into consideration while preparing the merit list and wait list for admission.
How is Merit List Prepared?
50% of the weightage is assigned to SNAP 2020 test. The rest of the weightage is based on selection process undertaken at the institute level. The evaluation of different parameters is done as depicted in the following table.

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is an entrance test conducted by SIU annually for admission into postgraduate (MBA and M.Sc) programmes offered by its constituent colleges. It is a computer-based test with most of its questions being of multiple choice (MCQ) type. A few questions are termed as special questions because these do not come with any choice. 2 hours are given to the applicants to complete the SNAP which is of 150 marks.
