How to Check the SNAP 2026 Result
- Go to snaptest.org on or after 12 January 2027 and open the result or candidate login link.
- Log in with your SNAP ID or registered email ID, password and captcha.
- View your SNAP 2026 score card on the dashboard.
- Download and print the score card. SIU treats this printout as your official result.
The result stays on snaptest.org till 12 February 2027, so download it before then.
What will the SNAP 2026 score card show?
The score card gives your SNAP score out of 60 and the overall SNAP percentile that institutes use for shortlisting. Only candidates who took the test receive one.
Keep the score card until you finish your programme if admitted; without it you cannot take part in an institute’s selection process.
How is your SNAP 2026 score calculated?
Each correct answer earns 1 mark and each wrong answer loses 25% of a mark, for a maximum of 60. If you take more than one test, only your higher score goes into the percentile.
- SIU does not normalise scores across the three tests; it sets papers of matching difficulty instead.
- Scores published by SIU are final. There is no appeal or revaluation.
- The SNAP 2026 score is valid only for admission in the 2027-28 academic year.
Is there an official SNAP 2026 cut off?
No common SNAP cut off is published by SIU. Each institute sets its own GE-PI shortlisting cut off for every programme, based on the overall SNAP percentile, and shows category-wise merit and wait list cut offs on its own website.
What happens after the SNAP 2026 result?
Institutes publish their shortlists and run the Group Exercise and Personal Interaction (GE-PI) for each programme separately. Dates are announced on each institute’s website.

- Carry your authenticated SNAP admit card and score card to the GE-PI.
- Wait list movement depends on vacant seats. Admission is confirmed only when you pay the fee by the due date.
