NMIMS CET 2027 (NMIMS-CET) is the entrance test of SVKM’s NMIMS Deemed-to-be University, Mumbai, for its B Tech, MBA Tech and B Pharm + MBA (Pharma Tech) programmes. It is a computer-based test at Pearson VUE centres. Dates are not announced yet; going by 2026, registration is expected from January 2027 and the test window from February to May 2027.

NMIMS has not published the 2027 schedule, so the dates below are expected months based on the 2026 cycle, when registration ran from 28 January to 26 May 2026 and the test window from 10 February to 31 May 2026.

How to Apply for NMIMS CET 2027
You register online on the NMIMS admissions portal, which handles NPAT, NMIMS-CET, MST and NLAT through one account. You pay the fee first, then book your own test date and centre. The 2027 portal is expected to open in January 2027.
Apply Online for NMIMS CET 2027
Applications for NMIMS CET 2027 are expected in January 2027.
- Open the NMIMS admissions portal, choose the programme-wise form for Engineering or Pharmacy and create an account.
- Select NMIMS-CET as the test category, then your school, programme and campus preferences.
- Pay the registration fee. It depends on how many schools you choose and how many attempts (main test plus retakes) you buy.
- After payment, schedule the test: pick a test date and a Pearson VUE test centre. Slots are given on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Check your email for the Pearson VUE confirmation, then download the admit card from your candidate dashboard.
- Update your Class 12 marks and upload the marksheet as soon as your board result is out. Without it you are not placed on the merit list.

The fee is non-refundable and not transferable. NMIMS does not allow rescheduling or cancellation of a booked test, so pick your slot with care. These are 2026 figures; the 2027 handout may revise them.
Who can apply for NMIMS CET 2027?
You need to have passed or be appearing in Class 12 with English, and meet the subject marks for your programme. These rules are from the 2026 handout.
- B Tech / MBA Tech: 10+2 with English as a compulsory subject and science or vocational science, with at least 45% in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or a vocational subject.
- B Tech / MBA Tech: a Diploma in Engineering with at least 45% is also accepted.
- B Pharm + MBA (Pharma Tech): at least 45% in PCB or PCM in 10+2 with English as a compulsory subject. NIOS candidates are not eligible.
- Age: the maximum age is 25 years.
- You can apply while appearing in Class 12. If your final marksheet is not ready at admission, upload the internet or DigiLocker copy within 7 working days of the result; a marksheet with compartment is not accepted.
What is the NMIMS CET 2027 exam pattern?
NMIMS CET is a 120-question, 120-minute computer-based test with no negative marking. Each section has its own time limit. Pharmacy candidates take Mathematics or Biology, depending on the PCM or PCB combination chosen in the form.

Which programmes and campuses admit through NMIMS CET?
NMIMS CET is used by two NMIMS schools: the engineering school (MPSTME at Mumbai and Shirpur, and STME at Navi Mumbai, Indore, Hyderabad and Chandigarh) and the pharmacy school (SPPSPTM Mumbai and SPTM).

The 2026 handout lists B Tech branches such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science and Cyber Security), Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Mechanical, Mechatronics and Civil Engineering, and MBA Tech in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. Branches differ by campus.
How does admission work after NMIMS CET 2027?
NMIMS prepares a merit list from your test score and your qualifying exam result, and it alone decides the cut-off. Engineering candidates are then called for counselling by merit.
- NMIMS releases counselling call letters on the candidate dashboard. In 2026 they came out by 13 June.
- You upload your documents online in the given window.
- You attend counselling. In 2026, separate rounds were held at the Indore, Hyderabad and Chandigarh campuses for those seats, and a round for all campuses at MPSTME Mumbai.
- Branches are allotted by merit, your choice and seat availability, and you pay the admission fee to confirm the seat.

What should you carry to the NMIMS CET test centre?
Carry a printed admit card as your main ID proof and one original government photo ID as a second proof. The name on the ID must match the admit card exactly.
- Accepted ID: Voter ID, passport, Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving licence (not a learner’s licence) or Class 12 board admit card with photo.
- Reach the centre at least 30 minutes before your scheduled time.
- You can take the test only on your booked date and time.
