NMIMS NPAT 2018 – NMIMS NPAT (National test for Programs After Twelfth) is the official entrance test for admissions to Undergraduate Degree and Integrated Degree Programs being offered by constituent schools of SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (Deemed to be University) at Mumbai, Shirpur and Bengaluru Campuses. NMIMS NPAT 2018 will conduct for admission to the following Undergraduate Degree and Integrated Degree Programs. NMIMS NPAT 2018 Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for the NMIMS NPAT 2018, candidate must have passed in class 12 or equivalent examination. The 10+2 exam must have been cleared in first attempt from any recognized board. The maximum age limit to be eligible for the admission in courses is 25.

B.Tech. & MBA. (Tech) MBA Pharma Tech (B.Pharm + MBA)
Candidate must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB certificate or / & DP awarded are not eligible) with English as compulsory subject. The candidate must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB certificate/ & D.P. awarded are not eligible).
Science or science vocational & minimum 50% marks in PCM for Mumbai campus & 45% marks in PCM for Shirpur campus. Those awaiting their 10+2 or equivalent examination result this year may also apply. Science or science vocational with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM)or Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB).
Candidate with IB Diploma is eligible only if he/she has offered Mathematics at higher level (HL) Or Candidates passing Diploma Engineering with Minimum 50% is eligible to apply. English as compulsory subject. Minimum 50% marks in (PCM / PCB).
B.Sc. Economics B.Sc. Finance / B.Com (Hons.) / B.B.A
The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB certificate / & D.P. awarded candidates are not eligible) in any stream from a recognized Board in the first attempt and should have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. The Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB Certificate / & D.P. Awarded candidates are not eligible) in any stream from a recognized Board at first attempt. And
The candidate must have passed in Mathematics / Statistics at 10+2 or equivalent examination. (a) Must have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks at 10+2 or equivalent examination for being eligible to B.Com. (Hons.) program & 60% aggregate marks for being eligible to B.B.A. & B.Sc. (Finance) Program.
(b) Candidate’s passing in Mathematics/ Statistics at 10+2 or equivalent exam is compulsory for being eligible to B.B.A / B.Com (Hons) / B.Sc (Finance).
(c) Candidate with IB Diploma applying for B.B.A / B.Sc. (Finance) program is eligible only if he/she has offered & passed in Mathematics/ Statistics at Standard level.
For IB candidate, the student must have Standard Level (SL) Mathematics / Statistics to be eligible for the program. Candidate with IB Diploma applying for B.B.A / B.Sc. (Finance) program is eligible only if he/she has offered & passed in Mathematics/ Statistics at Standard level.
B.Des
The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB certificate / & D.P. awarded candidates are not eligible) in any stream from a recognized Board in the first attempt and should have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
Candidates of CBSE, ICSE, should mention in the online registration / e-admission form (if selected) for 10+2 or equivalent examination, the aggregate marks of all the subjects the candidate has taken/opted and appeared for (not best of four, five, six or seven).
  • Candidates passing 10+2 or equivalent examination from Open or Distance learning (ODL) school recognized only by National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) can apply for the program subject to fulfilling the eligibility of the program & candidates who have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination by doing part-time course or through distance learning/correspondence/externally/open school other than NIOS are NOT eligible to apply for the courses.
  • Candidates of CBSE, ICSE, should mention in online registration / e-admission form (if selected ) 10th /10+2 or equivalent aggregate marks of all subjects for which candidate has appeared for (not best of Four, Five,Six or seven). The candidates shall have passed all the subjects appeared for in the applicable examination/s. The aggregate percentage of all subjects for which the candidate has appeared will be taken into consideration & PCM percentage for confirming eligibility of the candidate for the program.
  • Note for IB & Cambridge Candidates: Candidates called for admission on the basis of merit list & who do not have final mark sheet will be given “Provisional Admission” based on predicted scores. Fees will be accepted from such candidate but their admission will be confirmed on submission of final mark sheet, before the commencement of the program, if found eligible. The candidate shall have to submit copy of AIU notification to confirm their eligibility for the program as equivalent to (10+2) examination/s.

NMIMS NPAT 2018 Exam Pattern

Given below exam pattern is as per last year exam and only for references. The NPAT 2018 would be an objective type multiple-choice test. (There will be no descriptive type of questions). Test will be conducted for two hours; each section will have 40 questions. The NPAT 2018 will comprise of 3 major sections as follows:

Note: In case adequate number of candidates not registered at any of the center, candidates will be informed to take the exam at nearest center. NMIMS reserves the right to cancel any Venue of examination for any reason and the applicant will have to take the test at any of the other venues
available. NMIMS decision in this regard will be final.

Selection Process

  • All eligible candidates who wish to apply for admission into various courses will be required to appear for online Test to be conducted at various locations in India
  • Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidate in NPAT.
  • Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in NPAT 2018 & preference of campus given in online registration form.
  • Candidates are required for admission process in person.
  • In the counseling session candidates will be given admission to various disciplines as per their merit, choice and availability of discipline as per eligibility criteria.
  • The Merit list will be put up on the NMIMS website as per important dates. The decision of the institute will be final in this regard and no inquiries or correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
