The PUTHAT syllabus 2027 has four parts set by Panjab University: English Aptitude (30 questions), Current Affairs and General Awareness (20), Reasoning Ability (20) and Hospitality Industry Awareness (30). There is no separate syllabus PDF; the prospectus gives this scheme and a sample paper. The 2027 prospectus is not out yet.

What does the PUTHAT 2027 syllabus cover?
Panjab University lists only the four components and their question counts. The topics below are the question types used in the official sample paper and recent PUTHAT booklets.

What is the PUTHAT 2027 exam pattern and marking scheme?
The paper has 100 questions of one mark each, to be done in 90 minutes on an OMR sheet.

Each question has four options with one correct answer. Rough work goes only in the blank space of the question booklet, never on the OMR sheet.
Where can you download the PUTHAT syllabus PDF?
Panjab University does not issue a separate syllabus PDF. The scheme of examination and a 20-question sample paper (Appendix D) are inside the PUTHAT prospectus, listed below. The 2027 prospectus will appear on puthat.puchd.ac.in when registration opens.

How should you prepare for PUTHAT 2027?
- Give English and Hospitality the most time, since they carry 60 of the 100 marks.
- Read a newspaper daily and keep short notes on hotel groups, tourism news, important days and international bodies.
- Practise reasoning sets (series, coding, analogies, blood relations) against the clock.
- Solve the official papers on the PUTHAT previous year question papers page in 90 minutes each.
- Skip questions you cannot narrow down, because each wrong answer costs a quarter mark.
