The PUTHAT result 2027 will be posted on Panjab University’s results website; the date is not announced yet. In 2026 the result came on 20 May, five days after the 15 May test, on results.puexam.in. No result card is posted. Qualified candidates then attend in-person counselling at UIHTM, Chandigarh, in order of rank.

How to Check the PUTHAT 2027 Result
Panjab University announces the result by press release and posts it on its results website; no separate result card is issued.
- Open the Panjab University results website.
- Go to Entrance Results and choose the 2027 results.
- Open the PUTHAT link, listed as THAT.
- Find your roll number from the admit card in the result, or enter it if the page asks.
- Save or print the result for counselling.

How is the PUTHAT merit list made?
The merit list is prepared only from PUTHAT marks; Class 12 marks are not added. Candidates with equal marks are bracketed together, and UIHTM decides their order under Panjab University norms.
Seats are split 54.5% General and 45.5% reserved. Reserved-category candidates need the original certificate and, where required, an affidavit at counselling to claim the seat.
What is the expected PUTHAT 2027 cut off?
Panjab University publishes qualifying marks, not closing ranks; these are the minimums to be placed on the merit list (2026, official prospectus).

What happens after the PUTHAT 2027 result?
- UIHTM posts the counselling schedule by rank; in 2026 round 1 was on 3 and 4 June and round 2 on 8 June.
- Attend counselling in person at UIHTM, near the ICSSR Centre, Sector 14, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
- Bring original Class 10 and 12 marks certificates, a character certificate, a migration certificate (not needed for CBSE and PSEB) and any reservation certificate, with attested photocopies.
- If you have a gap year, bring an affidavit attested by a First Class Magistrate.
- Pay the fee on the spot: in 2026 the first instalment was Rs 79,110 for BHMCT and Rs 55,342 for BTTM, plus Rs 3,000 for the student welfare fund.
- Seats still vacant go to open counselling; in 2026 its merit list came on 10 July.
Can you get your PUTHAT result verified?
Yes. Within 10 days of the result you can ask for a photocopy of your OMR answer sheet by paying Rs 10,000. If a mistake is found, your result is revised and the fee is refunded.
