How did the JET 2026 objection process work?

You could challenge any answer from 1 July 2026 till midnight on 4 July 2026 by paying Rs 500 per question online.

• The fee is refunded if your objection is found correct and forfeited if it is not.
• No objection is considered without the fee.
• Questions found wrong, ambiguous, with more than one correct answer or with no correct answer are dropped. Marks are then scaled up in proportion within that subject.
• The result is prepared from the revised (final) key, and OMR sheets are not re-evaluated.

How do you calculate your JET score?

Your score is 4 times your correct answers minus your wrong answers, across your three subjects. Questions marked E (not attempted) count zero.

For example, 90 correct and 20 wrong gives 4 x 90 – 20 = 340 out of 480. The final score is on your JET 2026 score card.
