You answer only your three Class 12 subjects. JET 2027 is expected in June 2027, and its booklet is not out yet, so this page follows the JET 2026 booklet (Annexure II).

What is in the Rajasthan JET Agriculture syllabus?
Agriculture has 40 questions in three units: crop production (15), horticulture (15) and animal husbandry (10). Many topics are specific to Rajasthan’s crops, soils and livestock breeds.

What is in the Rajasthan JET Biology syllabus?
Biology has 40 questions: 25 from Botany and 15 from Zoology, with a strong focus on crops and agriculture.
- Botany Unit A: plant classification, morphology and anatomy of flowering plants, plant tissues.
- Botany Unit B: ecology and environment, environmental issues and pollution.
- Botany Unit C: economic botany and human welfare.
- Botany Unit D: biotechnology, recombinant DNA technology, plant tissue culture and their uses in agriculture and health.
- Botany Unit E: major crop diseases and their control.
- Zoology Unit A: animal kingdom and classification of non-chordates.
- Zoology Unit B: economic zoology, including molluscs, arthropods, insects and beekeeping.

What is in the Rajasthan JET Chemistry syllabus?
Chemistry has 40 questions, 10 from each of four units, including a unit on soil and agricultural chemistry.
- Unit A: basic concepts, measurements, atomic structure, periodic table, chemical bonding, redox reactions and chemical equilibrium.
- Unit B: chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, ionic equilibrium and buffers, colloids, metals, s-block and d-block elements.
- Unit C: soil chemistry, soil organic matter and microorganisms, soil colloids, fertilisers and their reactions in soil, edible colours.
- Unit D: organic chemistry basics, hybridisation, hydrocarbons, functional groups, polymers and chemistry in action.
What is in the Rajasthan JET Mathematics syllabus?
Mathematics has 40 questions, 5 from each of eight units at Class 11 and 12 level.

What is in the Rajasthan JET Physics syllabus?
Physics has 40 questions, 10 from each of four units that follow the Class 11 and 12 physics course.
- Unit A: units and measurement, kinematics, laws of motion, circular motion, work, energy and power, rotational motion.
- Unit B: gravitation, properties of bulk matter, thermodynamics, kinetic theory of gases, oscillations, waves and ray optics.
- Unit C: electrostatics, capacitance, current electricity, electronics and communication.
- Unit D: magnetic effects of current, magnetism, electromagnetic induction and AC, electromagnetic waves, dual nature of radiation, atoms and nuclei.
How is the Rajasthan JET paper marked?
Each correct answer gets 4 marks and each wrong answer loses 1 mark, across 120 questions from your three subjects. The booklet has all five subjects, but you must answer only the three you studied in Class 12.

How should you prepare for Rajasthan JET 2027?
- Finish the NCERT Class 11 and 12 books for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics first.
- For Agriculture, use the Rajasthan board agriculture textbooks, since the syllabus covers Rajasthan crops, soils and animal breeds.
- Do not skip the agriculture-flavoured units in Chemistry (soil chemistry) and Biology (crop diseases, economic zoology).
- Practise with the Rajasthan JET previous year question papers under a 2 hour 10 minute timer.
- Leave a question (circle E) when unsure, because each wrong answer costs 1 mark.
