The SET result 2027 is expected in May 2027 on set-test.org, about ten days after the second test. In 2026 it was declared on 20 May 2026. Your SET score and percentile decide which Symbiosis institutes call you for Personal Interaction, and the final merit list combines your score with that round.

How to Check the SET Result 2027

You check the result by logging in to your account on set-test.org, with the same SET ID used for your SET admit card.

1. Go to set-test.org and open the result link.
2. Log in with your SET ID and password.
3. View your score card and download it.
4. Print the score card and keep it until admission is complete.

In 2026 the result stayed online from 20 May to 19 June 2026, so download it early.

The score card is your official result and is needed at every institute’s selection round.

How is the SET 2027 merit list made?

Each institute shortlists on SET percentile and then adds a Personal Interaction score. This was the 2026 weightage for SET programmes:

For B.Tech, SIT allots branches by SITEEE percentile, branch preference and seat availability. Category-wise cut offs for merit and wait lists are put up on each institute’s website, not by SIU.

What happens after the SET 2027 result?

Shortlisted candidates take part in each institute’s own admission round.

1. Check the shortlist on the website of each institute you paid for.
2. Attend the Personal Interaction, and any writing or group round the institute holds, for each programme.
3. Check the merit list and wait list on the institute website.
4. Pay the fee by the due date to confirm your seat. Admission stays provisional until documents and eligibility are verified.
