Shivaji University will conduct the entrance exam for admission to the various courses for the academic year 2020-2021. The entrance examination schedule & relevant information for admission to various courses is provided below.

Application Process

The Course Directory can be purchased from University Office by paying Rs.100/- through Online Payment Gateway facility, or from Publication Section, Shivaji University, Kolhapur. If demanded by post additional charges of Rs.30/- be paid.

The entrance examination fee and other charges applicable can be paid through Online Payment Gateway facility Above fees and charges are non-refundable.

Candidate must apply online form on the University website online www.unishivaji.ac.in. M.Sc. and other subjects Entrance Examination Fee as per scheduled. The direct link to fill the Application Form will also be given below.

The Candidate should submit the printout of the application form along with receipt of payment by post or by courier or submit in person to the concerned department within specific dates. Candidate can apply for more than one course. However, he/she will have to apply separately for each subject for Entrance Examination.

Exam Pattern

Total Marks: 100.
Total Questions: 100 multiple choice questions i.e. M.C.Qs.
Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes.

For Distance mode M.B.A. – (M.B.A. Executive / M.B.A.)

The M.B.A. Entrance test will consist of 100 objective questions on aptitude, comprehension, numerical & verbal ability, data interpretation, judgment etc.

M.A. Entrance For other Faculty (Faculty Change)

Question paper for each paper will carry 100 marks and will be of 3 Hours duration. Candidate securing minimum 45 marks in entrance examination will be eligible to take admission to M.A. Course in the concerned subject.

B.Ed.-M.Ed. regular Three Year Semester Course in the Department of Education of Shivaji University, Kolhapur, will be conducted as per the NCTE, New Delhi and Government of Maharashtra State rules. The detailed Notification will be given on the Shivaji University, Kolhapur website in due course of time. Contact Department of Education, Shivaji University, Kolhapur for Admission to the Course after your B.Ed.-M.Ed. CET examination result of Common Entrance Commissioner and Component Authority Test Cell Maharashtra, Mumbai.
M.A. in Women’s Studies at the Centre for Women’s Studies, Shivaji University, Kolhapur:

Eligibility: Graduation in any subject and performance in the Entrance Examination

Note: Reading material is primarily available in English.

Details of Entrance Examination

Separate notification about the Entrance Examination will be released in July 2018.
Pattern of Entrance Examination: Written Test – 50 Marks; 90 Minutes; Interview: 50 Marks
Syllabus: General awareness and sensitivity towards women’s issues and English language proficiency.

M.Sc. Tech. Mathematics – There is no entrance exam. for this subject. Candidates have to submit the form online only for admission as per the schedule.
M.A. Yoga Science (Kamala College, Kolhapur)

Eligibility:

Graduate in any faculty.
Graduate Minimum 45% Marks Compulsory
B. A. (Physical Education ), B.P.Ed., B.P.E., M.P.Ed., M.Ed. (Physical Education), P. G. Diploma in Yoga, M.S. (Master of Sport.)

Note: Candidate must pass entrance test except Physical Education Degree holders.

Result

Merit list will be displayed on University website www.unishivaji.ac.in. under ‘Admission 2020’ link after the successful conduction of Entrance Exam. While preparing the merit list for M. Sc. admission, the performance at B. Sc. III/B. A. III or B. Sc. II/B. A. II, as the case may be, and the performance at the entrance examination can be given equal weightage (50.50).
