How are SMFWBEE merit lists prepared?
SMFWB ranks candidates by total marks out of 100 and publishes seven merit rank lists:
- Combined list (all categories)
- Physically handicapped (PH)
- EWS
- ST
- SC
- OBC-A
- OBC-B
Ties are broken by higher marks in Biology, then by date of birth (older candidate first), then by higher Physics, Chemistry and Biology percentage in Higher Secondary. SMFWB does not publish a fixed qualifying mark; your rank and the seats left decide admission.
In 2025 SMFWB also opened a window on 17 and 18 September 2025, before rank cards, for candidates to update their social category status.
What happens after the SMFWBEE result?
