How to Apply for SMFWBEE 2026
You apply online only, on smfwb.formflix.org, once SMFWB releases the 2026 information bulletin. There is no printed form. You need your own mobile number and email ID, because all messages from SMFWB come there.
Apply Online for SMFWBEE 2026
The SMFWBEE 2026 application dates have not been announced yet.
- Open smfwb.formflix.org and click Apply Online to generate your registration number and password. They come by SMS and email, so check your spam folder too.
- Log in through Applicant Login and fill in your personal, category, academic and exam centre details. Name, parents’ names and date of birth cannot be changed after you submit them.
- Upload a recent colour studio photograph (JPEG, 10 to 50 KB, 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm), your signature (JPEG, 10 to 30 KB, 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm) and scans of your qualification and category certificates.
- Pay the Rs 600 application fee online by net banking, debit card or credit card.
- Download and print the confirmation page. Your application is complete only when this page is generated.

Who can apply for SMFWBEE 2026?
You can apply if you are an Indian citizen who has passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and will be at least 17 years old by 31 December of the admission year. These are the 2025 rules; the 2026 bulletin will confirm them.
- Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent, passed in regular class mode, with pass marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually (theory and practical).
- Board: recognised by the Central or a State Government.
- Age: at least 17 years as on 31 December of the admission year. There is no upper age limit.
- Reservation: seats are reserved for EWS, SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B and PH (locomotor disability only) candidates as per West Bengal rules.

In the 2025 bulletin, government medical colleges and institutions offered 2,082 seats (2024 seat matrix). Students get a stipend of Rs 2,000 a month during the 6-month training.
What is the SMFWBEE 2026 exam pattern?
SMFWBEE is a 3-hour offline (OMR) test of 100 multiple choice questions on Physics, Chemistry and Biology at Higher Secondary level, with 1 mark per question and no negative marking. Topic guidance is on the SMFWBEE 2026 syllabus page.

Questions are in both English and Bengali, and each has four options with one correct answer. In 2025 the exam centres were in Kolkata, Bankura, Burdwan, Siliguri, Midnapore, Malda, Nadia, Murshidabad and Asansol.
