TG POLYCET previous year question papers, the Telangana polytechnic entrance exam’s previous question papers (called TS POLYCET until the name changed), are here for every year from 2017 to 2025, nine SBTET Telangana papers in all, with answer keys for 2019 to 2022, 2024 and 2025 and the provisional 2026 key. Since 2020 the paper has 150 one-mark questions in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 2 hours 30 minutes with no negative marking, so the 2020 to 2025 papers match the TG POLYCET 2027 test expected in May 2027.

How the TS POLYCET Paper Changed (2017–2025)
- 2017 to 2019: a 120-mark paper in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, with 2 hours printed on the 2017 cover.
- 2020 onwards: 30 Biology questions were added, making 150 questions for 150 marks in 2 hours 30 minutes.
- Using the older papers: 2017 to 2019 are still good for Maths, Physics and Chemistry, which make up the 120-mark MPC rank used for polytechnic seats.
How to Use TG POLYCET Previous Year Papers?
- Keep to one minute a question. 150 questions in 150 minutes means 60 seconds each. Mathematics has 60 questions, so give it about an hour and the other three sections about 30 minutes each.
- Answer every question. There is no negative marking, so a blank scores the same as a wrong answer. Fill every bubble before time runs out.
- Start with 2025, 2024 and 2022. They follow the 150-question pattern and have SBTET keys, so you can score them yourself. 2023 has no key, so check it from your Class 10 books.
- Pick the right key column. Each paper here is one booklet code (A, B or C). Use that code’s column in the key, or your score will be wrong.
- Plan for May 2027. About six months remain. Solve one paper every two weeks and you will finish all nine papers, with time to repeat the newest ones.

Is there negative marking in TG POLYCET?
No. A correct answer gets 1 mark, and wrong or blank answers get 0, so attempt all 150 questions.
Is TS POLYCET the same as TG POLYCET?
Yes. It is the same SBTET Telangana exam. The papers from 2017 to 2025 here carry the old TS POLYCET name.
Are the polytechnic previous question papers here available with answers?
Yes for most years. 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 have SBTET keys, and 2024 and 2025 have provisional keys. 2017, 2018 and 2023 have no key. For 2026 only the provisional key is available, since the paper is not yet out.
Do the 2017 to 2019 papers have Biology?
No. They are 120-mark papers in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Biology was added from 2020.
What marks do I need to qualify in TG POLYCET?
OC and BC candidates need 36 out of 120 in the rank subjects to qualify.
