What does the TG POLYCET rank card show?
The rank card shows your marks in each subject and your MPC and MBiPC ranks.
How are TG POLYCET ranks decided?
SBTET gives every candidate two ranks from the same paper. The MPC rank uses Maths, Physics and Chemistry out of 120; the MBiPC rank halves the Maths marks to 30 and adds Physics, Chemistry and Biology, also out of 120.
Ties are broken in this order, as set out in the 2025 instruction booklet:
- MPC rank: higher marks in Maths, then Physics; MBiPC rank: higher marks in Biology, then Physics, then Chemistry
- Older candidate by the date of birth on the SSC certificate
- Higher percentage in the qualifying exam (MBiPC rank)

What happens after the TG POLYCET 2027 result?
MPC rank holders join web counselling on tgpolycet.nic.in, expected from late May to July 2027. In 2026 Phase 1 ran from 27 May to 9 June, the final phase from 15 to 23 June, and spot admissions closed on 8 July 2026.
- Pay the processing fee online and book a slot at a help line centre (2026 fee: Rs 600, or Rs 300 for SC and ST).
- Attend certificate verification in person on your slot date; your login ID is then sent to your mobile number.
- Enter your college and branch options and freeze them.
- Check your seat allotment, pay the fee and self-report online.
- Report at the allotted polytechnic with your original transfer certificate.
Carry these to verification: rank card, Aadhaar, SSC marks memo, Class 4 to 10 study certificates, transfer certificate, and income, EWS or caste certificates if you claim them. MBiPC rank holders apply separately through PJTAU, SKLTGHU or PVNRTVU.
