TNEA Rank List 2020 – Directorate of Technical Education has released the Rank List for TNEA 2020. Candidates can check their TNEA 2020 on the official website i.e. tneaonline.org. To check the TNEA rank list, candidates have to enter the registered email ID and Password under Login Portal. TNEA 2020 Merit List Compilation
The Merit List for TNEA 2020 is prepared with a total of 200 marks (Maths – 100 Physics =50 and Chemistry- 50). If in case any candidate scores the same marks as of the other candidate then the inter-se-merit shall be applied. TNEA 2020 has certain Tie Breaking Criterias whichh candidates can check below.
- Candidates having higher marks in Mathematics will be preferred over the other candidates.
- If the tie still persists then the candidates having higher marks in Physics will be preferred over the other candidates.
- If the tie still continues then the candidate having higher marks in Chemistry will be preferred over the other candidate.
- If the tie will still be there then the elder candidate will get preference over the younger candidate.
- At last after all the criteria if there is still a tie then the Random Number of the candidates will be preferred i.e. candidate having the higher value of Random Number will be preferred over the other candidate.

Admission to General Category
The selection of the candidates belonging to General category depends upon the marks obtained by them in the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subject of the qualifying examination.
Admission of Vocational Stream Candidates
Ranking and TNEA 2020 counseling for vocational stream candidates will be done separately. There shall be a total of 100 seats in Category 1 and only 4% of seats shall be there for Category II. About Directorate of Technical Education
Directorate of Technical Education was established on September 4th, 1957. Since its establishment it is working as a higher education governance body under the government of Kerala.
