TG POLYCET 2027 (Polytechnic Common Entrance Test, earlier TS POLYCET) is the state entrance test SBTET Telangana holds for diploma admissions in polytechnics and in agriculture, horticulture and veterinary diplomas. The 2027 dates are not out yet. Going by 2026, registration should open in February 2027 and the exam should be in May 2027.

How to Apply for TG POLYCET 2027
You apply for TG POLYCET 2027 online on polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in once SBTET releases the notification. In 2026 registration ran from 2 February to 20 April 2026, with a late-fee day on 21 April and a Tatkal day on 22 April.
Apply Online for TG POLYCET 2027
Applications for TG POLYCET 2027 are expected in February 2027.
- Open polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in and start the POLYCET 2027 registration when it goes live.
- Pay the application fee online.
- Fill in your personal and SSC details, any special category you claim, the exam centre you want and your study details.
- Upload your photo and signature, then click Save and Preview and check every entry.
- Submit the form and keep your registration details; the hall ticket is generated from the same login.
The fee below is from the 2026 notification. SBTET will confirm the 2027 fee in the new notification.

Who can apply for TG POLYCET 2027?
You can apply for TG POLYCET 2027 if you have passed Class 10 (SSC) or an equivalent exam, or are writing it in 2027. Mathematics must be one of your subjects.

Students who apply while in Class 10 must pass SSC before counselling, since the SSC marks memo is checked at certificate verification.
What is the TG POLYCET 2027 exam pattern?
TG POLYCET is a single 2 hour 30 minute offline test of 150 multiple choice questions from Telangana Class 10 Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Each question carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking.

Answers are marked on an OMR sheet with an HB pencil. The questions are in English and Telugu, and Urdu-medium candidates write at a separate centre with translation help. In 2025 the exam ran from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
Two ranks come from the same paper: an MPC rank out of 120 (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) and an MBiPC rank out of 120, where the Maths marks are halved to 30 and added to Physics, Chemistry and Biology. See the TG POLYCET syllabus for the chapter list.

Your MPC rank is used for diploma seats in government, aided and private polytechnics affiliated to SBTET, through web counselling on tgpolycet.nic.in.
