What is in the UUHF Entrance Exam 2027 UG syllabus?
The UG paper has Physics and Chemistry for everyone and a third subject that depends on your group: Biology (PCB), Mathematics (PCM) or Agriculture (PCA). The topics below are from the 2026 prospectus and are expected to stay the same for 2027.

What is the syllabus for the M.Sc and Ph.D. tests?
The M.Sc test starts with a 50-question Aptitude Test, based on the general syllabus of other competitive exams, followed by a 150-question Subject Matter Test for your subject group.
- M.Sc subject groups for the paper are Horticulture, Forestry, Agriculture and Life Sciences, chosen from your bachelor’s degree.
- M.Sc and Ph.D. subject tests follow the standard course content approved by UGC, ICAR and ICFRE for Indian universities.
- Ph.D. candidates take a 600-mark subject test for their own programme, such as Silviculture and Agroforestry, Fruit Science or Agronomy.
How many questions come from each subject?
Each UG subject has a fixed number of questions, and every correct answer gets 3 marks with no negative marking.

How should I prepare for UUHF Entrance Exam 2027?
Start from your Class 11 and 12 textbooks, because the UG syllabus follows the 10+2 science course, then practise MCQs against the clock.
- Give the third subject the most time, since its 80 questions carry 240 of the 600 marks.
- PCA candidates should revise crop cultivation, soils, horticulture crops, farm implements and livestock breeds, which the agriculture section lists in detail.
- Solve full 200-question papers in 3 hours to build speed; there is no penalty for guessing.
