What is the MAKAUT PGET 2027 syllabus?
The PGET paper tests only your own stream or discipline. MAKAUT’s scheme of examination says each paper has 50 MCQs on the relevant stream, and every candidate must take the paper of the relevant subject group. There is no common general or mathematics section.
MAKAUT does not issue chapter-wise topics, and its FAQ says no specific book is recommended. In practice, the paper covers the core subjects of the Bachelor’s degree that matches your paper code.
Which PGET paper code should I choose?
Your paper code depends on the programme you want. This is the 2026 brochure’s mapping; some programmes accept more than one code.

What is the MAKAUT PGET 2027 exam pattern and marking?
The paper is a single online test of 50 questions, each worth 2 marks. This is the 2026 scheme; the 2027 brochure will confirm it.

Where can I find the official MAKAUT PGET syllabus?
MAKAUT does not issue a separate syllabus PDF. The scheme of examination is on the portal’s Prospectus page, and the programme-wise paper codes are in the information brochure. The 2027 brochure will appear on the PGET portal.

How to Prepare for the MAKAUT PGET 2027 Syllabus
- Find your paper code first from the programme table in the brochure.
- Revise the core subjects of your B.Tech, B.Pharm or B.Arch course, not general aptitude.
- Use the GATE (or GPAT for M.Pharm) syllabus of your discipline as a checklist of core topics; this is our suggestion, not an official MAKAUT syllabus.
- Solve objective questions from your subject under a timer: 50 questions in 60 minutes leaves about one minute per question.
- Test your device, camera and internet before the exam if MAKAUT again runs it as a remote-proctored online test.
