You check the result by logging in on the NTA ICAR website. In 2026 the result came out on 29 August 2026, so the 2027 result is expected in August 2027.

How does ICAR rank AIEEA PG candidates?
ICAR prepares a separate overall merit rank list for each major subject group. If two candidates have equal marks, the tie is broken in this order:
- Fewer negative marks ranks higher.
- The older candidate ranks higher.
- A higher percentage or CGPA in Class 12 ranks higher.
The rank decides whether you are declared eligible for counselling registration and choice filling. In 2026, 28,303 of the 30,619 registered candidates appeared for AIEEA (PG).
What is the expected ICAR AIEEA PG 2027 cut off?

What happens after the ICAR AIEEA PG result 2027?
After the result, ICAR runs online counselling at icarcounseling.com. In 2026 it began on 29 September 2026, a month after the result, so 2027 counselling is expected in September and October 2027.
- Register on the ICAR counselling portal, pay the counselling fee, upload documents and fill your choices of sub-subject and university.
- Check the seat allotment in each round.
- Respond to university queries, resubmit documents if asked and pay the seat acceptance fee.
- Download the provisional admission letter and report to the university.
- Get your documents verified by the university, which confirms your eligibility.
The 2026 counselling for PG (other than Veterinary) had Round 1 allotment on 5 October, with Round 2 scheduled for 9 October, Round 3 for 12 October, Round 4 for 15 October and the mop-up allotment for 23 October 2026. Veterinary disciplines have a separate counselling schedule.
