Assam CEE 2027 (Combined Entrance Examination) is the state engineering entrance test that Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) conducts for B.Tech admission in Assam’s engineering colleges. Dates are not announced yet. Based on 2026, the application is expected in March 2027 and the offline exam in June 2027. DTE Assam then runs counselling.

How to Apply for Assam CEE 2027
You apply online on ASTU’s application portal, astu.formsrec.in, after the CEE 2027 information brochure is released, which is expected in March 2027. ASTU does not accept paper forms, and you cannot change your details or category after the last date.
Apply Online for Assam CEE 2027
Applications for Assam CEE 2027 are expected in March 2027.
- Download the CEE 2027 information brochure from astu.ac.in and check that you are eligible.
- Register on astu.formsrec.in with a mobile number and email ID that you will keep until counselling ends.
- Fill in your personal, category and Class 12 details, and choose an exam centre. The centre cannot be changed after you pay.
- Upload a recent photograph (JPG, 25 to 35 KB, taken within the last two months) and your signature (JPG, 15 to 30 KB).
- Pay the fee online by debit card, credit card or net banking.
- Print the confirmation page. You will need it at counselling.

How to log in to the Assam CEE 2027 application portal?
You log in to ASTU’s application portal to fill the CEE form, edit it until the last date, pay the fee, print the application and, later, get your admit card and rank card.
- Open the official ASTU website. The CEE 2027 login opens on ASTU’s application portal with registration, expected in March 2027.
- New candidates click Registration first and set their own password.
- To sign in, open Login and enter your application number, registered mobile number or email ID, with your password.
- Your account opens with the steps live at that stage: the application form, review and edit, online payment and the print option, and later the rank card.
Forgot your password? Click Forgot Password on the login page, enter your registered mobile number and verify the OTP sent to it. Keep the same mobile number and email ID until counselling ends, as you need them to log in. For technical problems, the 2026 portal listed the helpline numbers 8108014947 and 7977259728 (10 AM to 6 PM).
Who can apply for Assam CEE 2027?
You can apply for Assam CEE 2027 if you are an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Assam with a valid PRC, and you meet the Class 12 subject and marks rules below. ASTU does not check eligibility at the application stage; DTE Assam verifies your documents at counselling.

5% of B.Tech seats in Assam’s government engineering colleges are reserved for students who studied Class 7 to 12 in state government schools and colleges. ASTU may revise these rules in the 2027 brochure.
What is the Assam CEE 2027 exam pattern?
Assam CEE is a single 3-hour offline paper of 120 multiple choice questions, set on the Class 11 and 12 syllabus of the Assam State School Education Board, Division II (Higher Secondary).
