Assam CEE
The exam is composed of three sections i.e., Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry and the questions asked in the exam are of Higher Secondary Education level (10+2). A Merit-List is prepared based on the order of merit i.e, if you manage to score higher marks, you shall be ranked higher and seat shall be allotted to you in one of the engineering colleges under Assam Science & Technology University. Examination dates are framed in the table given below.

Assam CEE Eligibility
To be eligible for Admission to any of the Colleges a candidate must fulfill the following conditions:
- The Candidate must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent resident of Assam.
- For admission into B.E./B.Tech Courses the candidate must pass the Qualifying Examination individually in the same sitting without any grace marks in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English with a minimum of 50 % (45 % in case of SC and 40 % in case of ST) marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The same sitting means a candidate must appear all the four subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English together.
- The Candidate must appear in the Entrance Examination for admission.
- The Candidate must not above 21 years or below 17 years of age. Upper age limit is relaxed to 22 years in case of B.Sc. passed Candidates. Upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for Scheduled Cast and Scheduled Tribe candidates.
- The Candidate must possess a good moral character.
- The Candidate must be physically and mentally fit.
Assam CEE Exam Pattern
The paper will be composed of three sections namely Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with 40 questions in each of the section.
Candidates will be provided 3 hours to finish the exam.
Each correct answer would fetch you 4 marks and 1 mark would be deducted for each incorrect answer.
Medium of Entrance Test: The question paper contains questions in “English” and “Assamese” medium
Syllabus: The standard of the exam will be that of NCERT syllabus adopted by AHSEC, Assam.

Assam CEE Syllabus
The syllabus of Assam CEE is the same as JEE Main. Hence, the candidates are advised to thoroughly go through the class 11th and 12th class books for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
The candidates can also prepare for solved paper, previous year question papers, sample papers, or mock test series.
