How to Check the Assam CEE 2027 Answer Key

1. Go to astu.ac.in after 6:00 PM on the exam day.
2. Open the CEE 2027 news section and click the provisional answer key link.
3. Download the key and find the answers for your question booklet set (A, B, C or D).
4. Compare the key with the answers you marked in the booklet you took home.

ASTU publishes the final answer key on astu.ac.in after reviewing all challenges, and the result is prepared from that final key.

How to Challenge the Assam CEE 2027 Answer Key

You can challenge the provisional key only online, through the link on astu.ac.in, within 48 hours of the link opening. In 2026 the window ran from the evening of 14 June to 6 PM on 16 June.

• The fee is refunded if your challenge is accepted.
• No query is accepted after the last date, and ASTU’s decision is final.

How to Calculate Your Assam CEE Score from the Answer Key

Your score is 4 marks for each correct answer minus 1 mark for each wrong answer, out of a maximum of 480.

• Correct answer: +4
• Wrong answer: -1
• More than one option marked: counted as wrong (-1)
• Not attempted: 0

For example, 80 correct and 20 wrong answers give 320 – 20 = 300 marks. In 2026 ASTU gave each candidate a copy of their OMR sheet with the Assam CEE result, so you can check your marking then.
