In 2018 each elective paper (6A to 6F) had three case-study questions and ran for 4 hours, against 3 hours for the other papers. Later sessions on our other year pages carry five case studies.

How were the CA Final 2018 elective papers set?
Each elective was a 4-hour case-study paper with three case studies, as printed on the 2018 question papers.
Are the 2018 CA Final papers useful for the current syllabus?
Partly. Financial Reporting, Strategic Financial Management, Audit and the tax papers overlap with today’s papers; the electives and Paper 4 (Corporate and Economic Laws) are no longer written exams.
