CA Foundation 2018 Result
ICAI has announced the result of CA Foundation 2018 November examination. Candidates who has obtained a minimum of 40 marks in each 4 paper is eligible for further process. Thus, candidates have to obtain minimum marks of 40 in each subject paper. The result is available online. Candidates need to log in using their registration number, Pin number or Roll Number to check their result. Candidates will also receive their qualifying status via SMS or email as per their registered mobile number and email address. Addition to this, one will also be able to download their rank cards and certificated under their login accounts.
Cutoff marks:
- In each paper, candidates have to achieve a minimum of 40 marks to qualify the CA Foundation 2018 November examination.
- Also, they need an aggregate of 50%.
CA Foundation 2018 Admit Card
Those candidates who had successfully submitted their CA Foundation 2018 November exam form can download their CA Foundation 2018 Admit Card. Only candidates with valid admit cards will be able to appear in the CA Foundation 2018 November examination. The admit card for CA Foundation November 2018 examination is now available for download.
To download the admit card candidates have to log in using their registration number and password. No physical admit cards will be sent to the candidates. Thus, it is the responsibility of the candidates to log in and get their admit cards as per the schedule.
CA Foundation 2018 Exam Pattern
Below is the exam pattern of CA Foundation 2018 November examination.
Mode of the examination: Offline only
Number of papers/subjects: 4
Total marks: 400
The number of shifts: examination to be conducted in 4 days. Exah day candidates have to appear for 100 marks paper and for 3 hours.
Type of questions: paper 1 and paper 2 will be subjective/descriptive type. However, paper 3 and 4 will be MCQ type.
Negative Marking: In Paper 3 and 4, 1⁄4 (One Fourth) mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. multiple darkened circles for a question will also be treated as the wrong answer in paper 3 and 4.
Half or more fractional marks only will be rounded off to the next full mark in Paper 1 and 2.

Note: There is no scope of improvement of the result of Foundation examination in the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988. Therefore, such students who have once passed the Foundation examination are not eligible to apply/appear afresh/again in the Foundation examination.

CA Foundation 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Before you fill out the application form it is really important to understand the eligibility criteria. Now, are you eligible to apply for CA Foundation 2018 November examination? Read the points below to know the norms.
You must be registered in Foundation Course with Board of Studies. The last date for which was June 30, 2018. or Converted to Foundation Course with Board of Studies of ICAI on or before August 01, 2018.
And
You must qualify the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination) on or before November 01, 2018.
Who are exempted from attending the CA Foundation 2018 November examination?
- Candidates who are graduate or postgraduate in Commerce having secured in aggregate a minimum of 55% of total marks or its equivalent grade in the examination conducted by any recognized University (including Open University) with certain subjects. Or
- Graduates or Post Graduates other than those falling under Commerce stream mentioned above having secured in aggregate a minimum of 60% of the total marks or its equivalent grade in the examination conducted by any recognized University (including Open University). Or
- Have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India or the Institute of Company Secretary of India
