The CA Foundation admit card for January 2027 will be released by ICAI on eservices.icai.org, generally 14 days before the exam, so it is expected in the second half of December 2026. The exams are on 3, 5, 7 and 9 January 2027. No admit card is sent by post; you must print it yourself.

How to download the CA Foundation admit card January 2027?
You download the admit card from your dashboard on the ICAI Self Service Portal once ICAI hosts it. Only candidates who submitted the exam form by 19 November 2026 will get one.
- Go to eservices.icai.org.
- Log in with your username ([email protected]) and password.
- Open the admit card link for the Foundation Examination January 2027 on your dashboard.
- Check every detail on the admit card.
- Print it and keep a spare copy.
If you applied provisionally, upload your Class 12 mark sheet or admit card on the portal before the deadline in the guidance notes, or your admit card will not be issued.
What details are printed on the CA Foundation admit card?
The admit card carries your photo and signature along with your exam details. Check them as soon as you print it.

What to carry on CA Foundation exam day?
Carry the printed admit card to every paper; you will not be allowed in without it.

- A copy of your barcoded exam form, in case of any query
CA Foundation Exam-day Rules
These rules are from ICAI’s latest Foundation guidance notes and the January 2027 announcement.
- Entry to the centre starts at 1:15 PM. Late entry is allowed only up to 15 minutes after the start.
- Papers 1 and 2 get 15 minutes of reading time from 1:45 PM; Papers 3 and 4 have none.
- No early exit: you must stay till the paper ends.
- Mobile phones are banned in the hall, even if switched off; carrying one is treated as unfair means.
- Do not write your roll number anywhere except the space given, and do not write any symbol or mark in the answer book.
