How to check the CA Inter result September 2026?
You check the CA Intermediate result online at caresults.icai.org with your registration number and roll number.
- Go to caresults.icai.org on the result day.
- Open the CA Intermediate Examination result link for September 2026.
- Enter your registration number and your roll number (from the admit card).
- View your paper-wise marks and group result, and save a copy.
The January 2027 result will be checked the same way. It is expected in March 2027, as the January 2026 result came on 8 March 2026.
What are the CA Intermediate passing marks?
You pass a CA Intermediate group if you score at least 40 marks in each paper of that group and at least 50% of the group’s total, in one sitting.

There is no improvement exam: a group you have passed cannot be taken again.
What is the expected CA Inter September 2026 cut off?
CA Intermediate has no rank-based cut off: you must meet the pass marks above. ICAI’s pass percentages show how many candidates did so in recent sessions.

What is in the CA Inter result and statement of marks?
The online result shows your marks in each paper, the group totals and whether you have passed, failed or earned an exemption.
- Exemptions are marked with “#” against the marks of that paper.
- ICAI sends the statement of marks by post soon after the result. If it does not arrive in 4 to 5 weeks, write to [email protected].
- Candidates who pass both groups get a pass certificate within 60 days of the result.
- Results can be withheld or cancelled for unfair means.
Can I get my CA Inter marks verified?
Yes. ICAI allows verification of answer books for Rs 50 per paper, applied for on eservices.icai.org within a month of the result. There is no revaluation.
- Certified copies of evaluated answer books cost Rs 100 per paper and must be applied for within 30 days of the result.
- The scanned copies are emailed to the address given in your exam form.
What to do after the CA Inter result?
If you pass both groups, you continue your practical training and move on to CA Final, which also needs articleship and Advanced ICITSS. If you missed a group, apply again for January 2027: the form is open from 3 to 16 November 2026, as given on the CA Intermediate January 2027 page.
